Sizing:
Child Granny Hat Sizes: Premature (0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 3-10 years)
Adult Granny Hat Sizes: Teen/Small Adult (Medium Adult, Large Adult)
To fit up to: 13 (14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23) inches head circumference,
Yarn Quantities:
Each hat requires approximately 75 (100, 125, 150, 175, 225, 275, 320, 370) yds / 68 (90, 112, 135, 158, 203, 248, 293, 338)m of yarn.
Gauge:
Band Gauge: 20 sts and 17 rows = 4” x 4"

I am doing the medium adult size I am at the part where i have 26 cluster groups of 3dcs and have started to round 1 of the decrease section but i end up with 18 cluster groups of 3dc at the end of the round, what am I doing wrong? I think it should be 18 clusters, not 17!

So sorry you’re having trouble with it Debbie. The count should have a cluster followed by a decrease (using 3 spaces from the round below) up to 24 spaces to give you 16 clusters. This will leave 2 spaces at the end that you do another decrease over to get you the 17th cluster of the round. Hope that makes sense.
