- How will this classic portrait camera do for street photography? We go out with the Mamiya 645 to try the Lomo Metropolis for the first time, it's a relatively new film emulsion and it was surprisingly good!
We got a sweet deal on a Mamiya 645 with a faulty shutter, and after some testing, some digging and some work we are able to make it work. In this video you can see how we work on site with a camera with a de-facto stuck shutter.
After this first roll, we think that the desaturated and contrasty look of the LomoChrome Metropolis fits so well for this kind of street photography, but also gives really nice vibes for portraits (check the last three shots)! We will for shoot more with it.

hah the channel name came from a late night fun talk when we decided to go ahead and create our little corner 🤩 you are right about the size, actually that Hassie is the only one I have ever had in my hands and the size was similar, though it weighted more than the Mamiya, I have the feeling. More of Jimmy's pictures coming soon in new videos, till then you can check out the Mamiya RZ67 or the landscapes with the Fuji GW690iii ☺️
