The most interesting thing about the camera is to check the mirror stop when it's in your hand if you don't you will have issues. Other than that I do love my Mamiya's

I do have the 3D sprockets for a 35 mil canister, but I haven’t had really the want to shoot 35 in it yet

A great camera system that has been a workhorse in my collection for years.

Totally agree. A 36 exposure roll of 35mm reminds me of shooting film from the 70's to2000, It took me months to finish off a personal roll. These days, I can finish a 645 in one shoot and having multiple backs allows different film stocks, speeds, color/bw. But full dress with winder and batteries, elf this camera is only a lb less than the rb with wlf. But the elf on an rb takes it to a ridiculous 8 or 9 lbs. Now I can print the 645 neg easily to 20 -24" but the rb has tonal transitions and additional resolution for 24x36 prints that I rarely do even though my printer is capable. And some days I just want to shoot waist level and manual crank and that makes this a tiny package. I can throw the elf in the bag and can shoot it eye level without the power winder keeping it fairly light.

@@user-ew4uo1dl5m so… you can… but they make a little tin folding flip up cover that takes the place of the prism. Bc without anything the ground glass can be hard to see bc it’s so light. With the added cover you’ll see the ground glass better
