Share your tips for night time film photography!!❤
Amazing photography. Loved it. Simple, to the point and without any nonsense about the camera gear or the Einstein like thought process. The one @ 3:08 is just magic. Well done. Now I have to see if the I could do some night photography with my Pentax 645.
That picture with cell phone guy is magic
aww thank you!
You're my favorite photography youtuber. Keep making these videos, they're really interesting and well made.
Brb, wiping away my tears 😭
Thank u thank u ❤️
Great job Andrew!! The Mamiya 645 is a great camera. If you shot in bulb mode with the self timer On the camera will works in T mode, so you will not need the shoting cable anymore.
Nice shots! Did you use the 645’s internal meter? I would have liked to see that shot with the red car blasted with more light, maybe a stop and a half more. Then again you may have lost a lot of emphasis on that geometric detail.
Wow, what a great video. Love the photos too! Also great to see you experimenting. I’d love to get into shooting medium format. These vids help a lot. Thanks for that! All the best from Holland.
Thank you so much! Medium format truly is so much fun! I hope you get into it someday!
It's nice to have a BTS walk with you ! Nice little camera :)
Thanks for watching!
Getting ready to buy a bronica ETRSi to do some night street photography with
Hi! What tripod did you use? I just got a Mamiya 645 and I’m so excited to learn how to use it 🙌🏽 amazing video and shots btw! Keep it up 👏🏼
The peak design travel tripod!
It’s a bit pricey tbh, but travel wise it’s nice to have!
Very nice work, this is not taking pictures this is making pictures. As for converting you colour photo to Monochrome, this is actually something I love to do for night time black and white, if you actually do this in Chanell Mixer ( if using Photo Shop )you can play with tonal separation by converting Monochrome then playing with RGB chanels to get more separation and definition . I really like these images and the lighting in your studio is perfectly matched for this vibe. Nice work, fantastic Camera, what lenses do you have so far.
inspiring
Really Nice work ! Did you post process / edit color ? Or is it straight from camera ?
Thank you.
At the time I was using my local lab, whose scans I am not a fan of. So I did some minor tweaking, mostly temp/tint. Now I scan and edit at home since I trust myself more 😅
Beautiful and brave.
How are you metering your scenes? What iso speed were you shooting?
Love your video man
Thank u so much!
Can you please drop a tutorial explaining how you chose your ISO/ aperture to shoot on? Any time I try to shoot at night no matter the equipment & light metering it always comes out so bad.
Hm that’s a great question, there’s a lot of factors, but I’d say if you feel confident in your light meter, it could be other factors like light reciprocity on film! Try looking into that :)
Dude, if you forgot/don't have a cable release just use the self timer shutter release ;)
The Mamiya 645 super doesn’t have a self timer unfortunately 😭
Why change cameras for 35mm? Grab that 135 back and off you go. Haha.
Omg. I need that in my life 😭 I didn’t know that existed
