Mamiya 645 Pro and a single light source! medium format portraits by Wesley

  • Wesley breaks down how he lights and approaches a chill studio shoot. He shoots lots of different expired film stocks and uses various medium format cameras to capture movement and style. Sometimes one light is all you need! the Mamiya 645 and Pentax 67 doesn't hurt either

    Awesome, THIS is photography. Not talking about lens sharpness and camera menu settings. Great work, both ribsy and wesley

      Some are into photography for the technical aspects. For me it's all about film/developer combinations and playing with dilution/temperature; while I stay away from humans.

    I usually come away from shoots thinking 'Why did I take 10 of the same shot? Why didn't I experiment more?' I get caught up in trying to get a particular image and forget to have fun... next time I'll stick a post it note on the back of the camera... experiment!

    • @ribsy
      @ribsy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yea! experimentation is key - and having fun
