    Loving this build mate, detail is unbelievable. Jon is a visionary and good on you turning that vision into reality!! Match made in heaven.

    The amount of detail and fun touches on this bike is next level. Also, this episode felt even more chill chillaxed than ever and had a great flow

      Thank you man - that means a lot! I've been watching a lot of 48 Works - his flow is other worldly!

    I love how ceracoating looks. Hagerty recently restored an EJ20 engine and they ceracoated the plastic parts in subaru blue, and it looks awesome. There's something about the finish from ceracoating that just looks so good. I wonder what ceracoated fairings on a sportbike would look like? 🤔

    the good news when running out of work on the bike is that you have more time for editing 🤣

    Well if your running out of things to do on the V-Max, there is your own XJR that needs some attention. And if I'm honest that one I will be watching very closely. Purely from an interest point of view, wouldn't dream of stealing any of your ideas for my own XJR🙂 By the way, appreciate the time and effort to put these out. I thought about it when I did my XJR re-build but when I realised the amount of time involved, nah flag that.

      Thank you Mark! Yep, the XJR has been waiting very patiently... main issue is that without a front end, I can't move the V-Max off the stand! Don't worry though, it'll be getting going soon enough 💪🏻

    Excellent video!
    What brand of frame braces are those?

    • @ShooglyShedMotors
      @ShooglyShedMotors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure actually! They were a random eBay purchase that we had cerakoted. I modified them slightly and also welded tabs to the frame instead of the clamps they came supplied with.

    Love the cerakote Black pipes,where did you get it done? I have a couple of projects on the go at the minute and black pipes are the way to go not a fan of chrome. I had a gen1 max and always regret selling her. Fantastic looking build fella the guy is gonna be over the moon.

      We sent these to Highland Cerakote up in Inverness, but I'm sure if you search, you'll find a coater more local! Nathan at Factory Coating is also worth a shout.

      @ShooglyShedMotors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's Jon's theme for the bike 👍🏻 all his inspiration!
