I created and Formatted the view as you have sown in the video. When I insert the view through the "List" Webpart in my page, the tile size does not come as it is there is the view. The description fields get concatenated when I see the list in the page. Not sure whats wrong. The View itself shows the Tile or the Grid as per the parameters i have set in JSON. Any clue what could be wrong?
A bug was introduced in the last couple of days which is driving this unwanted sizing. It's not just you, many many people are affected. I believe it is being worked on, so keep the faith... it'snot you... it's them!
This is a very informative channel and worth watching. I am thinking if you have some way to to use dynamic filtering with multiple set. For example: right now you showing items, accomations and ticket... In case we need to add one more set of available, new and sold. Then how about it
Thanks :-D! Multiple filters are not available within Dynamic filtering. You could perhaps create multiple views and filters for each and maybe use expandable sections to create a type of navigation, but that's probably not going to be optimal. I'll have a play around with it and see what I can come up with... stay tuned! ;-)
A really interesting video, thanks - I've had to implement "classified ads" umpteen times in intranets and I like your approach here. I can't wait for part 2. One question, though: am I missing something? Is there a reason you didn't create the categories' list first and then make category a look-up column in the items-for-sale list?
Thanks a lot, love the use of the word "umpteen", not heard that in a while other than myself saying it! 😉 Part 2 is up and linked in the description. Good question and no, you're not missing anything at all. A lookup list would be perfectly fine for this. Great shout 👍
Jam packed with content/tips that can be applied to so many use cases 👌 Thank you , appreciate it 🤩
Hey Squareggs! Great to hear from you. Glad you liked it and can see oppotunities to use it. That's really great to hear 😁🥳
Wow. Thank you so much! Purchased your full Course on SharePoint Intranet Site Build Master Class

Brilliant.. Txs for sharing. Have you tried to make the same from the Pages library?

When adjusting the validation settings for the list, I get this error >> "The formula contains a syntax error or is not supported." Thoughts?
