Bummer, I should have bought the Hola when I had the chance. I've heard the Gate's cable is nice enough to justify buying it soley for that. Maybe I'll get it if I need a beater set.
I liked the Hola, and the cable was nearly worth the $20 as well. The Hola and QKZxHBB were something just off the Harmon curve, at a great price point.
Nah, just buy a roll of velcro tape and cut a piece.www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805814076798.html There are fancy cable ties, but a roll of tape will last you a while
Gate doesn't seem to be that unique it seem. Hola was definitely unique. Does not appear as a successor to me especially if they are both have different sound signature.
Had a look at my Hola a month ago after having lost it for almost 6 months (was in my old backpack) and i was really amazed at the shell. Then i saw the gate, and while the gate does seem like a solid buy, i was a bit bummed to see the see-trough shell.
@@HAKIMEOVER9000 Just like you, i did NOT like Hola upon having it. Not sure what happened to me, perhaps my taste evolve, i guess.. .. i was impressed with Hola recently. Back then i do think it sounded unique and i still think it is even now.
Sir Please help me as I am a beginner with IEM Earphones. Want to listen to good details of music with good bass. Moondrop Chu 2, Truthhear Gate Tangzu Warner SG I will appreciate you kind help and buy for sure.
I dont like how i cant use them with like 90% of my cables tho, you basically have to use them with Truthear only cables cuz of how recessed the pin connectors are
Yes, I don't know if there is an actual standard, but I think about Dunu and their recessed sockets. About as recessed as they get and may not work with other cables.
are they relaxed like hola? I really like hola and am really addicted to it, so i dont want any treble painful iems for my next upgrade under budget segment. So can i go for GATe?
Thank you for the review, Paul!
Could have said Gate to beautiful sound in the title
I could and that would have worked. I usually have a few titles in my head, went with the window-like faceplate reference. Can't win them all.

Not a bad cable, but Hola was a decent starter set.

You aren't the only one, they should bring it back. It is not as if there was no interest in it when it was discontinued.
Nice review. I like that cable tie. Is that something widely available, or is it homemade? Thanks.

What would be better for rock and metal, the Gate or Ziigaat Nuo?
Nuo and if you like more volume, maybe Tripowin Piccolo

I returned the hola but kept the gate. I really did not like the hola.

Chu2, Zero 2, or the new KZ EDC Pro
@@PaulWasabii thanks I really appreciate. 🪷 Love from India🇮🇳
This vs the kz zsn pro 2 . Which has better sound quality and good for long hours and better build ? Please suggest
ZSNP2 is a better build but Gate might be better for long hours. KZ does fun but might get fatiguing after a while

Waiting for cca cra pro review
I don't think that is going to happen. I think it was ok though, someone had one on Facebook.
@@PaulWasabii so, there's nothing special with that new cra? Is that no much different with old cra?
Gate or moondrop chu 2 which one would you prefer?
I'll take the bit of extra bass in Chu 2.
Don't buy Chu 2 it's horrible in terms of QC issues. Get the gate if you like to play fps games (long session) it's comfortable.
@@DreaMyeditzzz thanks but I went with ziigaat nuo for my new iems
@@proquadgamers3151 good choice bro 🙃

No, they changed it. It is a bit more energy, stick with Hola and keep asking Truthear to bring it back
My god the shell is worst than kz shell casing even pc shell is better looking than this money grabbing iem
