Great review and comparisons Tony, I’ll take a pass on the Gate and hang on to my Hola and Wan’er. I’m curious when the budget sector of the market starts tackling the more complex tunings of the higher end market. They all have pretty much perfected the “safe” style of tuning to one degree or another. Conquering the more successful complex tunings of the higher end market would seem to be the next logical step for the budget ($50 and under) segment of the market.
Since i do have Simgot EW100P and EW200 in my possession, i do understand the statement about EW100P sounded thin. Another example about EW100P is a pair of common (but outstanding sound of) 2.0 desktop speakers. Whereas EW200 is a bigger speakers with 2.1 setups (dedicated Subwoofer - sounded fuller).
The KZ libra balanced is so underrated, its my favorite KZ iem rn, the vocals are smooth and more forward than other kzs, i like the bass better than castor black, and the highs are neither peaky nor sibilant, its like a more energetic wan'er, im just mad not many people seems to be reviewing it.
I took off the metallic grill in Libra Balanced and it cleared the bass a bit.I may do one more small hole on the shells. The mids are the smoothest of all my KZs they are very nice.If I managed to clear the bass a tiny bit more it will be my best dynamic drivers set 😀 but even as it is now it's very pleasant sounding its smooth and has some rumbling..
I rediscovered my (original) HZSound HeartMirror's over the last 2 weeks; resurrecting them from "the bottom of the drawer". They've been modded (with the Y4 filter over the vent port closest to the nozzle base on each case) and sound terrific for 1DD IEM's. The metal alloy case...the overall diminutive size...fitment...all are terrific. I am using them at the moment with an aftermarket ivipQ cable (silver) connected to my Muse HiFi M4.
Tony, I apologize for being intrusive, but if it’s not too much trouble, can you let us know how things are going with the TRN ST7 review? I mean that maybe for some reason there won’t be a review or something else... I just can’t decide between Rhapsody and ST7 (for me this is a lot of money - it’s important not to make a mistake with the choice). THX.
Hey Akros, any of these best suited for vocals, both male & female? I'm looking for a natural, clear, and detailed representation of vocals because I listen to vocals-only audio. I don't prefer anything that's too colored, but rather something that reproduces vocals real-like, but also with good clarity and detail. Thanks! And if I may, how does something like the Tin Hifi C2 fare compared to these if I can EQ it? I have heard the driver and technicalities are good for the price.
Hello bro, I want to ask you a question if I already have the chu 2, kz zvx, truthear gate, trn conch, tanchjim Zero and cca Polaris. Do you think that a good sto in sound could be the cca trio?
Naa..u wrong, my world's best audiophiles iem just a retuned frm great iem which is so cheap, while hooked it up towards diff system or sources does make a scaleable differences noobs..ha4..Peace!

You have a nice selection of IEM. I would go for the CCA Rhapsody ...I think it makes more sense and will bring you a new flavour of sound in terms of resolution.

Is it better than the Bass?
How's the bass quality?
And how are the technicalities in comparison?
pls compare with wan'er studio edition when it will be available, thank you!

@@marcswinnen9100 Thank you kind man))
Rhapsody by a long shot..!
Apologies for the delay.
ST7 is ok but not up to the standard of performance possible from the Rhapsody.
It's a much better IEM in every way.
Good sets of comparisons

24:00 agree, I actually also heard that rightaway
Kinera Wyvern Abyss vs Truthear Gate 👀
Abyss ...no contest
Hey Akros, are you going to review the PAIAUDIO PDM7 by chance?
Tangzu waner vs Truthear gate.??
Which has better clarity and sound separation..??
perhaps the comparison should be between Truthear GATE and Tangzu Wan'er Studio Edition which is launching tomorrow.
Great comparison! How does the gate compare with KZ Castor Harman?
