- A Cobb Accessport V3 is simply a MUST HAVE mod when it comes to the 2015+ WRX/STI. And because it's a tool used as you further modify your car, it's no surprise that it's typically the FIRST mod that Subie owners reach for.

Do you guys have like a library of tunes for different mods installed? for example, I have only a catback exhaust and CAI. would I be able to look through a library of tuning maps for those specific mods?
Your Stage 1 93 map that I got free when I bought the AP has made all the difference ! The car is much more of a pleasure to drive as a daily, pedal is linear and smoother and there is more power in the higher rpm.

Running the stage 2 ots map with invida dp and map intake best thing I've done really opens the car up and blows the cobb map out of the water.
now get a protune and you'll blow all the ots maps out the water
Still need an external wastegate and then it on like donkey long

hey i just bought a cobb accessport., but i couldnt find the right MAP for me., i have 2015 sti with cobb intake, invidia catted downpipe, and invidiaq300 exhaust.., can anyone lead me to the right map?? im looking for the stage1+ map but there's no downpipe in it., is pro tune only my option??
I have a 2017 wrx stock I just added a cold air intake everything else is stock can I use tune 1 ??

Question. Does the map still allow for the different driving modes or is it all just one throttle setting no matter if its in I, S, or S#?

U should go get a pro tune asap. With the fuel injectors the STI comes with, they are pretty much maxed out if u combine an intake and a down pipe

im brand new to the tuning scene and still doing research, but i was wondering how the ots tune works with the cobb ap, i was looking into different tunes and one that caught my eye was a crackle tune and they mention a required cobb off the shelf tune, how do i get that
An accessport will come preloaded with Cobb OTS tunes. If you want another brands OTS tune you will have to purchase it from them!
Since I can’t run your ots tune on my 21 WRX, is it possible that I get your MAP intake and use the Cobb ots stg 1+ instead? I’ll be saving up for a jpipe afterwards and eventually get a protune
Our parts are optimized for our tunes, but it is possible to run our intake with their tune.
Should I get the AP first or any aftermarket parts I plan on installing first? And how do I know what map is the correct one for any parts I put on after doing so^^?
That's a great question, and you can't go wrong with either! I would probably recommend the AP first though because you can get a tune that will wake the car up a bit even with stock parts! As for your second question that also depends, but is much more complex. Give us a call at 651-348-8811 and we can help with that!
Since it's not mentioned, If you don't live in the US the AP will not work with your Subaru. Waiting on a response on what my options are because apparently there's a whole different AP for Australian Subaru's.
Yeah Cobb has an V3 Australian Accesport on their site now

Same but my 18 has an invidia r400 cat back and Cobb sf intake. These dicks won’t answer any questions regarding parts other than from their rip off high priced site if you buy from them. Just go straight to Cobb with questions.
@@cmonman2476 I mean, they have always said they only support tunes using their hard parts. You don't see Cobb providing you free tunes for other manufacturer's intakes either. Just the Big SB Cobb one. Pretty much any intake you install that is not Cobb or MAP is going to require a modified tune, which is a custom tune.
What tune should I get for a 2017 WRX with an ETS intake and Tomei Expreme Ti catback?
Probably going to have to be a custom tune with that intake.
Does your Stage 1+ MAP supports Cobb Sf intakes?
Our 1+ is intended for use with our MAPerformance intake only.

yes it does now. Cobb has updated its firmware. You may need to update it in the accessport manager before it will recognize the 2021

yeah factory subaru warranty is 3 years or 30k miles. 2015 was 6 years ago so your warranty is long past.
I was thinking the same. I got used to my unbeatable Hyundai 10 year/ 100,000 mile Warranty 😅. Now the engine seized waiting on dealer to fix it for free almost 10 years after it rolled of the lot lol. Hence why I bought my STI is just so fun to drive

might as well just get it from these guys since the tune is free and if you don’t like it you can switch to the cobb one since it comes already on the accessport. there’s not really a reason to buy one straight from cobb if you want the maperformance tune in my opinion

@@MLKM4N go on facebook marketplace and try to find some pre owned ones. some of them already have these maps put on them and you can save a little money. that might be the easiest way to get one sent to cali

Probably just the Stage 1+ OTS tune. Unless you have a J pipe, you won't have to go stage 2
David Vuong I have heard the OTS tunes will blow up your motor, as they aren’t specialized for you to include things like air pressure and altitude. Am I wrong on that? Not at all trying to argue or prove you wrong, you just seem to know what you’re talking about!
@@benbattista5035 COBB and MAP are both really reputable companies that know their stuff. Their OTS tunes are solid as long as you have the exact mods required. A protune is obviously more reliable, and should be done when you’ve reached your modding goals, but the OTS tunes are great for what they’re designed for. Plus, Subaru doesn’t tune each individual car either. They’re all given the same map just like an OTS tune.

I ran the Cobb Stage 1 OTS for a while and then the Stage 2 with their J pipe, and now I’m on a pro tune (huge difference, certainly worth the money!) with an intake and boost controller. I loved the OTS maps and you’re right, with the exact right mods I had no problems at all! The pro tune was a great choice though. no knock numbers at all and everything is buttery smooth!
Just get a pro tune and stop being cheap.
