Not sure why you’d monitor boost. Set boost and oil temp on your trip meter. On the left side I monitored DAM, FBK, and FKL. On the right it was manifold air temp, af ratio, and target boost to monitor of target boost is being reached. If you’re Flex Fuel, run the final ethanol instead of air temp.
On the 2002-2005 WRX the DAM is displayed as a number 1-16 (16 being ideal) on all other Subarus it will be a decimal from 0-1 (1 being ideal) *I know you guys deal with '15+ Subarus but you gotta cover all bases for customers with the EJ2.0L
I agree but disagree. Surely a custom tune is always better then OTS tune but the ots tune pulls HARD. I installed the stage 1 93 HWG map on my 18' premium sport wrx and it fucking pullls haaaarrrd like a V8..hard. i cant imagine what more FBOs would do to the car or a custom tune lol.
if it's a off the shelf tune expect some crazy number randomly its ghost knock in the past when stage 2plus OTS would sometimes blip and give me -11.21 once I got dyno tune I barely see -1.44 even with my heat on or a\c get a dyno tune .. but to answer your question its probably nothing unless your dam is dropping and stays and still seeing those numbers.
God i just installed this yesterday and alresdy saw a 1.4 on feed back knock and the numbers change on fine knock learn haha i never wanted to see those numbers change lol
I have had the Cobb Accessport for a little while about 400~ miles driven on it and i have experienced some knock as of recently. It started out as 1.40 for a while but didn't always happen and this is with out the AC running, and today while driving it hit 4.2. Never had DAM drop but do you guys have any input on if i should take the tune off and wait for a pro tune in the future?
Have you figured out? My 2019 only has 1800 miles , installed AP for four days now and my DAM went from 1 to 0.85, my fine knock keeps reading -5.3 whenever it it 2000 rpm, After 2000rpm it goes back to 0, but the drop of DAM freaks me out
@@slowassmiata Make sure you are using top tier fuel only! Also, make sure you have the right tune for example if you have 91 Octane tune run only 91 or higher and if you have 93 octane tune only run 93 octane...Usually bad fuel will lower you DAM.
@@delvinrendon8995 idk where you live. But I recommend running 91 tune with 93 gas. Also, your dam should be at 1, not 0 like the other guy said. If your problem continues, you might want to just take the tune off. Shelf maps don’t react the same for every car, and it might just not like your car if what I said above doesn’t help.
Subispeed has their Military discount program as well. If I use the Cobb 10 promotion, can I still use the subispeed Military discount or does the greater discount apply?

Just hit two months waiting for my warranty headlight replacement.... What is going on over there Subispeed? 3 weeks ago your customer service bot told me that it would be a week. Well, that didn't happen......
Landan, we apologize for the delay I've forwarded this over to our sales department and you should be receiving an email later today with more information.
I have a 2019 wrx I just bought installed the stage 1 tune from Cobb My AF learning 1 gauge reads -10.16 at idle and goes up and down when driving is this ok ??? U said anything past -8 or plus 8 is bad mine is -14 to -9 continues to change is my car fucking up ??? Someone please help !!!!
your ok bro I have 2019 wrx too it's fine-16 to 16 is norm cobb website has a list of what to expect is normal it's in the maps section of what the monitors mean
when 1st setting up the AP to your car, tune or no tune, it’s still a flash count on the ECU. If you have to go to Subaru for a warranty repair, they will check your ECU and if you have ever had an AP married to the car, they will see the flash count. This can lead to Subaru of America declining your warranty repair!! Now days with so many warranty claims and many owners having flashed, Subaru is more than ever checking ECU count before approving warranty. There are more dealerships that will decline warranty from ECU flash than ones that will!! Unless your ready to pay for ALL repairs out of pocket, I’d ride out the warranty just to be on the safe side!! It sucks believe me, ive got a 2019 STi and would love nothing more than to run an AP just to monitor stock at minimum!! I’ve even talked with my dealership and they said its a no go once Subaru of America asks for the ECU info!!
I got a Fine Knock Learn of -3.87 I keep getting the knock between 1K-2.5K rpm. After driving for a bit the knock went down to -2.11 at the same rpm but never shows up at WOT. Is it something that I need to be concerned about?
@@delaneyschafer2110 I checked my spark plugs and found out that they were loose and the whole outer spark plug well was soaked in oil from blowby when I didnt have a catch can. What I did was clean up the well, installed catch can and turbo sump restrictor (only necessary when aftermarket J-pipe is installed) The car pulls so much smoother now.
@@t_0mie492 oh ok. Have you done your plugs or were they still stock from factory? I have done my plugs about 25k miles ago, but I torqued them to spec. I'm thinking of doing them again tbh.
@@delaneyschafer2110 yes I’ve replaced them last year. It might be an ecu issue because all wrx in the forums with the same problem are 2018 ones.
Y’all worry too much. Get a good pro tune then either put the AP away or just monitor things like your ethanol content and just chill unless the car doesn’t sound right. I can’t help but facepalm every time someone asks about -1.4fbk lol
