@@JamesCF10 hey man, love the content! Just got my own 2016 TT S-Line so have been binging all of your videos haha. This red ring mod was something I looked at but couldnt find any online and dont want to paint my originals - did you ever find some?
Nice little video paddles look good. Ill be lookin at shifters when I get the TT during summer but was trying to find ones that directly screw on to replace the existing. Ive seen golf R ones that are simply a pin holding the paddles and easy swap but I think the TT has different ones in terms of the way its fastened. I was looking to avoid these types as 1. I thought it was stick on but now I can see these ones push the moving bit of the paddle tighter (id be curious to make sure it wasnt damaging the original plastic one or its edges) 2. I would be worried the top and bottom parts of the paddles, if used would be putting the middle part under a little bit more pressure and possibly damage over time. Would have been good to see you try pulling from the diff area on the shifter. I could just be a bit paranoid mind you lol. PS. Dont get black wheels you'll look like a 'police please stop me' kinda guy lol. Cars already black go for a nice OEM shine. Those wheels are not the best the other SLine 5 stars or the double spoke 5 stars are usually better lookin in all silver.
@@cristanhince5402 It's always been like that - I was as surprised as you when I first got the car. As long as you've got your foot down the bangs are nearly always there! Nothing to do with the intake and still nothing like my old BMW (check those videos out if you haven't already) - but very welcome all the same!
@@cristanhince5402 That is odd, but with the newer engines and EU regulations - it could be a noise limit level that they weren't allowed to exceed ☹️ Go and give it a hammering then let me know how you get on haha
I have absolutely no idea...I’m not saying you should but lots of people just don’t mention anything. It’s a remap so it’s unlikely an insurance company are going to check your ECU in the event of an accident...stranger things have happened though

Do you have a link for those? The mount looked so ez and the finished product was awesome. Do you think they have a metallic gold? Or dark yellow? I want yellow stitches and yellow seat belts on my tt but cant find any good website for it..😅
Link is in the description 👊🏾 There's loads of companies that will supply new seatbelts for a decent price, as for the paddles - there are other companies that have more colours but these particular ones only come in black or red
@@JamesCF10 The link returns a “page not found” error for me and when searching the site or eBay sand Amazon I can’t find any that clamp on with a bolt like these for this shape of paddle and only ones that are fixed with adhesive pads which I’m not keen on.

Paddle shifters look sick in red. I’d continue doing any more bits in red, to match the red S line badges.
Black alloys and red callipers next 🔥
For sure, I'm also looking at red rings to go around the air vents to match 👌🏾

You got a tear in that nice wheel 😳
I know maaaan, fortunately it wasn't done by me - not much I can about it either really ☹️

What paddle style are these? V5 or V6 ?
No idea sorry Liv
does the weight of the paddles/180gr/ makes the steering wheel a little bit heavier?
Not at all
How do you know which style paddles you have?
I think they're all the same, or do you mean, which ones I've bought?
Are you running an aftermarket exhaust and If so what system is it? Sounds very nice
Thats just the standard exhaust 👌🏾
@@JamesCF10 Jesus, the bangs when changing gears sounded like you have an aftermarket system? Is that down to the induction kit then?
