I have to say Thunder Dome is my favourite. Back in 85 my uncle won a VHS copy that we had access to before it landed in the video shop. We had nightly showings for friends and neighbours Lol. Good times.
@@CoinOpTV I want to. It will just depend on work and school. I actually had a kinda funny moment when watching Dune 2. They had played a trailer for Furiosa before the movie and ATJ is in both films. Even though she’s only in Dune Part 2 for a few seconds, she has a very similar outfit so I had that moment where it kind of took me out of the movie and made me laugh.
You nailed it. Road Warrior is by far the best of the movies, even if Fury Road looks the best. (Fury Road is pretty great though. Hampered only by Tom Hardy not being as cool as Charlize Theron, and the supermodel escapees looking a little unlikely.) Mad Max is far more grounded than the rest, like we're seeing the immediate aftermath of the apocalypse and not what it turned into with the other three movies. And Beyond Thunderdome just feels like a Hollywood-ization of Miller's rough and ready Ozploitation style, too glossy to be taken seriously. Thanks for the video!
