- Well, the day finally came! I began to properly lose my hair on Day 17...I put off the inevitable for a little while! Here's the diary.

I just went last week of this situation. I got a buzz cut and now letting the rest come out naturally. I am almost totally bald. I keep washing my head trying to get it all out. Almost there. This is the worst side effect. I am on Taxol 300 & Carboplatin. This is the strong dose. After the 1st treatment I lost my hair. Thanks for you video. Now I don't feel all alone. My wife had breast cancer and she was so very hurt when she lost her hair the chemo made her so very sick I thought she was going to leave us, I do hope and pray everything goes great for you and your family my wife is two years cancer free she gets bumps and she gets the bumps looked at and removed if need be, I pray for everyone who gets cancer I know more than I want to know about cancer,

Your videos have been more help to me than I ever could have imagined. I started with first chemo treatment after searching for what to expect. Your honesty and openness have helped me fear less and have been a huge help to my mental stress knowing you felt exactly what I am feeling now. Thank you so much for putting this journey out there. You have truly been a gift to me.

You are a rockstar. I am going through this exact phase today and couldn’t bring myself to shave it today but you’ve given me the courage to do it tomorrow. I’ve been loving your videos, they’re been very comforting and empowering as I go through a similar journey just a few months behind you...thank you for sharing your experiences and please know that they’ve been so helpful to me.

Hair will come back. accept treatment happily and always think this is a small price to pay to live and be with your children. Would you rather keep your hair and loose your life? You will go through with it and get your hair back. You look very pretty and wigs will help you out. God bless you and your beautiful family.

😥😥😥😥its very painful i can understand same condition my daughters also she’s detected overran cancer and her 1st chemo was 11october but she didn’t lost her hair we been little happy but after 10 days that horrible day is here and she was screaming to see her falling hair oh my God ! 😭😭😭 how pain full all this nothing we can do just praying to Lord Jesus give us strength .iam sorry for you ill do prayer for you to. .
My mom has breast cancer, she is starting her chemo treatment today. I hope she will recover very soon.

Sorry you got cancer . So you have to shave your . Your hair will grow back . Get your treatments done first . So your bald o well .BALD IS BEAUTIFUL. You women do look good bald I like it . I went stbaldricks last week. March 15 2018 an I had my head shaved. So iam bald to an I love it . Smile be happy ok .

Hair doesn't define you
Easy for any of us to say.
@@cynthialewis2096 that is true, it doesn't. I can say this because at age 39 all of my hair fell out due to a different drug called Elmiron. This same drug has now been found to cause permanent total blindness. It is the only drug used for a condition called painful bladder syndrome.
Later, at age 51 I developed breast cancer. Losing your hair is tough, but, like Dee here, you gain strength you didn't know you had :)! I am now well on both fronts sans hair!
