Thanks for being brave enough to show us what you have been thru. My chemo made me lose all my hair. The last day of 2014 I noticed peach fuzz coming in so it encouraging to know that it was coming back in. I did have some gray hair before my treatments, but now I have MUCH more! It is harder to get used to that, than being completely bald! I know I can color my hair if I wanted to....but I just can't bring myself to do it even though my own reflection is a stranger to me.
+grannaboo03 I haven't and don't plan to dye my hair at the moment, just embracing my natural colour even if it is brown with grey strands! I am sorry to hear you struggle with the mirror, just know you are worth so much xx
I just found this, I'm so upset, I can't believe such a beautiful sweet young woman is gone. I'm 59 and my future is positive, so unfair, she actually made me feel better about my chemo curls, why do I care, really.
My hair is about this length maybe a little shorter. But mine is wavier and thicker. I did however lose mien from chemotherapy. I did not have to have radiation.
