I shaved of all my hair in 2014. I had long hair but it was super dry after bleaching and coloring my hair too much so I decided to cut and shave it. I also did it for my grandfather who died when I was 11 from cancer and for everyone else out there who battles with cancer. It feels like everyone take hair for granted when people out there loses their hair in cancer (chemo). Then my hair started to grow out again it was super soft and healthy hair. Now my hair is in little the middle (part of my back) I wanna save my hair and cut the ends more often and then it got a good length I want to cut it again but this time I want to donate my hair for wigs for cancer patients. I was an blood/plasma donator for about 4 years and when they told me that my blood count wasn't that good (too little iron). The same year a lot was going on. I was graduated from school and I moved. I never went back after that and let them check my blood again and see If my blood count was better and If I could start donating again. I will contact them. I don't mind needles, it's totally worth it when I know that I can help others that need it.
I'm so sorry for your hair just know you will always look beautiful look at the past and be happy you had a chance with hair some people can be born bald just remember your beautiful in every way some people are worrying about having this but your trying to be happy how I know that is because no one wants to see their hair go to waste but you are beautiful no matter what

I'm a cancer survivor, and i think the best thing to do when you're having the hair loss after chemo is to cut them very short, because the head skin hurts all the time when the hair is long due to hair loss 24/7, even without brushing them. The shorter the hair, the little is the skin pain.

Cathy Logan that is because you don't have cancer , trust me when people gets cancer all they care is to fight it and be free of it the last thing u will think is being bold for a while cause a hair can always grow , but once your death 💀 all the hopes are gone , but I know how u feel .. the reason they lose hair it's not the cancer , it's the chemotherapy based in arsenic .
