  • I tried the elusive black engrave on tumblers without the use of marking spray. I am calling this a success.

      It was way too unstable without it.

    I love my F1. I bought a 3d printer to make jigs for the ra2 to hold yeti and different stanley perfectly level.

    It would be nice to see the actual engraving part. At least part if it. How do you make the letters black if the metal is silver? I am new to this and don't know the process

      On steel the power you set for the laser can give you different colors.

    Great video in XCS. When moving objects around can you use the arrows on the keyboard? Thank you!

    Great video buddy!👍
    There is something that caught my eye...Your speed on the rotary for that cup.70mm/s really!That must take an eternity to do,am I missing something because I do 100power/400speed/300LPC 1 time diode,and 1 time ir with the ir for cleanup I do 60power/400speed/300LPC...My setttings at 400speed it burns all the way to the stainless under the powder coating...With your settings it would take hours to do...I just don't get your settings,and to top it off you're not even burnning all the way through the powder coating...How is this possible?

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am burning all the way through and marking the steel black. I also run mm/s. The purpose of my settings were to black the steel without marking spray. You must have missed that part.

      @@TheClackShack I missed that part because sometimes you talk to fast..🤣I'm french so maybe sometimes I can miss something...Loll...I'm cuious on how long does it take you tomake a wrap like that?

      @@geraldlamothe6091 if I were only removing the coating, Incould go much faster.

      @@TheClackShack Ok I went back to where talk settings...It wasn't clear for me on how you were getting that black effect.I thought it was the powder coating that was turning black,and not the SS...Iwill do a test grid on a cup to see if I can get that effect...The worst powder coatings to engrave on are the color turqoise and purple...

    I just tried engraving a Yeti with my F1 and I don't get anything. I was using the rollers but the settings were the same as someone else used and the same as a comment below. I am not getting anything. Any suggestions? Also, myXCS looks totally different. Is yours a new version? If so, I must have the old but not sure how to get the new one. Any suggestions on all of this is appreciated!

      Make sure to focus, Yetis are a pain. The coating can be tough and inconsistent. I am running the new beta xcs
