Based on several videos I have watched on the F!@ Ultra I just ordered the ultra bundle to supplement my CO2 laser. I do a lot of small projects that are hard to set up in the CO2 and I have to make a jig. I spend a lot of time aligning the projects, especially round things. I can see this machine really saving me time and money. Thanks for your video.
I LOVE that you give HONEST reviews. i.e., pointing out the bevel when cutting. Though not a big deal, and not something that is a problem but more an artifact, it's important to point out if people are here for information and considering buying one. My only complaint is now I don't know what laser to buy 😂

You accidentally selected “blue light” instead of “ir fiber” for the dog tag (sometimes you have to click the dropdown and select “referenced IR”). It comes out soooooo much better with your fiber laser on metal vs diode. I made the same mistake with mine at first.
Using the camera to align your printer is excellent! No more being just offset and wasting material attempting to get it right or adjusting the size of design

You are SO good about explaining the how-tos clearly & thoroughly. I'm also looking forward to you doing a video on the photos (on clear substrates as well as on black metals)...they look AMAZING!
Just a thought, have you ever thought about using an automatic vacuum switch for your air purifier? I would always forget to turn the vacuum on when cutting wood. Especially when using the miter saw. It is probably not a big deal for the laser, but I find it so convenient that the vacuum kicks on automatically.

@@MyLegacyLaserStudio depends on what your doing with them. That is a great combo that you mentioned. I think your pretty well covered with both of those machines.
You couldn’t do a demonstration of engraving a handheld tool by chance could you? Wrench, socket or Ratchet would be cool. Trying to find out if I should look at buying this for opening a mobile engraving service for tools. Thanks!

From what i understand its a 20w fiber laser on it, that should be kore than enough to engrave on metal, Ive seen a demonstration of a 3d coin engraving done with this machine… 🤔
Can you share the power information from the power brick for the Ultra? I have one on the way, but it hasn't shipped yet and I'm trying to find the power consumption of the laser to figure out how long it will run on a battery power station. Thanks in advance.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I calibrated it 3 times - thought I did something wrong a couple times. I’ve even tried to redownload the application. Maybe thinking it could be my computer?
@@SpicerDesignsLLC Yes, I got through the setup and wanted run through the example project, but when it tells me to select the auto-measure, the light will shut off but the application pretty much freezes. The loading process and cursor just continue to buffer.

There is an output on the F1 ultra for the purifier but nothing on the purifier. Im guessing they are going to be revising the purifier but idk

I havent tried it on the stainless yet. I know it will burn the coating off the tumbler no problem. Ill be doing some more testing.

I actually did try doing a wrench but it didn’t turn out. Im going to do some more testing on different coatings. It may still be able to do it.
