I've been following Sammy since the early '70s in Southern California. A lot of people from those days are gone, but Sammy keeps going! A Rock 'n Roll energizer bunny!
Sammy Hagar, it's a Legend still Rocking. OmG. That Voice and the Rest of the Guys. Awesome. This Remind me of The first time I saw him. With EVH. To me he was the voice for EVH. Thank You ❤️ For You Music Love You...
this song means something to me. I was 16 and my first car was a chevy SS 409 with trips (three big two barrel carbs) big fat tires in the back, 4 speed hurst shift. Thing was cherry and it was LOUD! I was a kid that had no business owning a car beast like this one. But I did.
When Billy Duffy has a guitar strapped on he's like James Dean......Just cool as shit looking. Anyone else hear a little "She Sells Sanctuary & Fire Woman" ..... listen around 3:17 & 4:02, it's his signature riff, you can hear it in a lot of his songs.
The Song was Written For Sammy By John Eddie as a request, John had just Given the Rights To Kid Rock for his Song "Low Life" and Sammy Loved It, While In Vegas, Sammy Asked John to write something for him to try and record, John Asked Him what He was looking for and Sammy Said "Something Loud"…John Came Home to Jersey and worked on a few titles, But Decided to go literal and write a song about being loud…I was privy to this Because I Was John Eddie's Road/Tour Manager at the time, and Can Say I was in The Studio In Red Bank New Jeresy when John Eddie And His Band, Kenny Aaronson, bass, PK Lavengood, guitar and Rich Scanella, drums, ran through the song the first time.. I was running the audio that day, The Minute I heard it, I thought "Sammy is gonna Love It" Richie incorporated the Opening Drum Rift of "Rock and Roll" on the "Led Zeppelin" Line. it made it do the demo John Sent Sammy, but did not make Sammy's Version…John's Version was a little faster paced and not as Metal.. but Both Versions are indeed Loud…
What a super group ...haven't seen Mr Matt Sorum that pumped since VR...Sir Sammy was on point as always.... these guys could do shake this globe if they made an album of this thunder☆☆☆
I don't think so. At least the VH clip was on a stage instead of a garage and as weak as that song was, it didn't sound like an utter retread and had some interesting lyrics that aren't cliched dreck like this.
If i tried jumping off the stage like that I'm sure paramedics would be at the door, lol dang Sammy there's a few good yrs left in ya man.!! lol rawk it!
hey Ashley Great vid but can you get it in HDMI . it is only 240p Would B A whole lot better if it were in 1140p or higher or even 720p better than 240p. Not that I am not appreciated. to see it at all. But You did this Editing right . Just hoping to see this in better screen. Thanks.
LOL! First, he didn't write this. Second, you need to take a look at his entire catalog (especially the hits, regardless of whom he was with or whether he was solo) you find that he has written some great lyrics.
two things that make you wrong...not a Hager song and if you look as good at 70...not 75 as he does you would be so lucky but you cant even hear because at 70 years old...the dude still has his chops
That song gets better and better every time I hear it! 🤘🏻🤘🏻loving that signature bass too!
I've been following Sammy since the early '70s in Southern California. A lot of people from those days are gone, but Sammy keeps going! A Rock 'n Roll energizer bunny!
I first heard it of him from Van Halen, now I listen to all three singers back catalogue and loving it.
Sammy is my favourite 😎
🎼🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Hands down one of my favorite Rock Singers. At that age, singing like that, only a few can run with him
He is absolutely rock 'and roll! Love you man!

Great singers never die thanks to Video
Wish this one was on the radio, nobody but Sammy is playing with everyone and creating new music. Rock on Sammy.
Sammy is still ROCKIN. 🎸🎶

Dude. If you play, you know Billy has been playing a variant of the Sanctuary riff on every album since Love. Every Album.
I hear “Love Removal Machine”.
Love... Behind the Scenes 💥🎸🥁💥
Cult Feel all the way. Would like to hear Sammy exchange lines with their singer.

This song needs to be #1!
What a super group ...haven't seen Mr Matt Sorum that pumped since VR...Sir Sammy was on point as always.... these guys could do shake this globe if they made an album of this thunder☆☆☆
One of his best songs
Still a better video than VH's "Tattoo."
Mike Anthony again proves his worth as one of the best utility players and backing vocalists in rock history.
I don't think so. At least the VH clip was on a stage instead of a garage and as weak as that song was, it didn't sound like an utter retread and had some interesting lyrics that aren't cliched dreck like this.
Mikey is the Bomb!
Damn you can def hear the classic “cult” sound

Billy Duffy should have a longer guitar solo in this song, and the lead guitar should be “LOUD”!!!!
Bad ass!!!

Shame that Sammy (with all his talent and resources) cant write better material!!!
LOL! First, he didn't write this. Second, you need to take a look at his entire catalog (especially the hits, regardless of whom he was with or whether he was solo) you find that he has written some great lyrics.
Cheese on toast.
I like the personal shit,,, the song sucks, Too corporate
Horribly typical cliche Hagar song. Except he can't sing anymore.
Still peroxiding his hair at 75 years old? Sad.
Homes you're a idiot!
No, he's a great sophisticated lyricist..."Red", "Can't Drive55", "Mas Tequilla", etc....LOL
Sammy rocks🤟🏼

@ Homes - Oh man you could not be further from the truth with that comment ...
