    Hello folks!
    I'm back with another switch review! This time it is a tactile swtich! We have a Gateron Quinn switch, which is inspired by harley quinn! When I first tried the swtiches, I was really impressed as it felt really different from all the other tactile switches I have. The swtich has a mid tactility, yet a heavy and satisfying bottom out! The switches are snappy too, due to the double-staged spring, which made typing really enjoyable! I feel like I can type with these switches for a long time. The stock switches were pretty smooth, but I could feel some scratchiness so I decided to see how they feel lubed. The switch ended up being quieter, but smoother as well! The switch is a tad bit expensive, coming in at $0.60 which is a bit pricier compared to the other switches I have reviewed. But I feel like that my fingers are less tired when typing for a long period of time.
    I hope you enjoyed this review! Sorry I had a few issues with camera focus as I'm still figuring out how to shoot with my new camera. Please like and subscribe to support the channel! I have a new keyboard build coming up so stay tuned :D Thank you and see you in the next one!

    amazing video!!! im waiting for my zoom75 to arrive this month, what would you suggest for a marbly full sound? switches (tactile)? plate? foam?

    • @keyblobs
      @keyblobs  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you!!! I would suggest building your board with the gateron quinns with a fr4 or Pom plate and all foams!!! You can leave out the case foam if you want more flex :D

    Awesome video! This got me to buy them and I've loved them!
    I want to try linears but I've only tried one linear (durock pom) and I did not really like them.. Smooth, but I like how I bottom out almost immediately on the Quinns, even though the durock's have a lighter actuation/bottom out force? Do you think I should target lighter linears for a similar experience to the Quinns?

      @keyblobs  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you!!! Yes, maybe try something with a lighter actuation and heavier bottom out? :)

      @@keyblobs ahh thanks I’ll look into that. And even tho I like bottoming out, go with heavier bottom out force?

      Sorry I meant heavier bottom out compared to other linears like the vertex v ones :)

    What's your lubing method on these? Also, aren't they factory lubed? Did you lube over the factory lubing?

    • @keyblobs
      @keyblobs  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I lubed the top and bottom housings, spring, and stem without touching the stem legs to preserve tactility :) yeah I lubed over the factory lubing

    Which do u prefer more overall the Quinns or the Bobas? :) trying to decide between the two

    • @keyblobs
      @keyblobs  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! Boba has a stronger tactility, while Quinns feel more rounded, like the tactility is not as sharp :) I personally am okay with both, depends on what I feel like typing on that day. They are both great switches!

    Is it good if I want a lesser weight tactile switch? I have azure dragons and I’m looking for a lighter tactile if it makes sense

    Which gateron switch would you recommend for the attack shark k86, I would like one that has a cool tactile response, but that wasn't blue, would brown be a good one?

    • @keyblobs
      @keyblobs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm yeah! I reckon the browns are a good option!
