Did you set those keyboards up differently? I have both of those switches and they sound almost the same in my board. Just the Mini i's are lighter tactile and spring. I believe they both have the same nylon housing and POM stem with a 22mm spring.

interesting! They sound very different for me on the same board (TG67) granted they were using different keycaps, but they're both dye sub PBT keycaps. Did you fully build the board with both of them? Maybe that'll make the difference more apparent
