@Max Muster it's unfortunate that you feel that way :( but then that's valid too. So far I've learned so much since my initial comment and that I'm really enjoying creating art with blender. It's different for each of us obv but in my opinion as long as we're enjoying then the process will always be worth it.

Thank you for your tutorial, Your tutorial's pace and audio is fantastic. With Blender, I am more comfortable with lighting and modelling, but I struggle with UV mapping. So much so that when following your instructions here my material does not apply the same way as shown. I'm clearly doing something wrong but don't know where to begin.

I've been trying the damn UV step at 1:10 for like 8hours can someone explain this better? - I grab my UV unwrap of the whole thing with seams, then it gets slightly bendt so I go to do the "follow active quads" step, but when I do the same thing it removes a piece from my original UV and when I press follow active quads on the straight piece then it doesn't want to do anything.
I had no idea that was a thing I could do with UV's. To follow active quads. I feel so dumb right now. Years of not knowing this was a thing. To the point where I purchased stuff to make UV editing easier.
Hey thank you so much for sharing this video it really worked on the basics and fundamentals of using the tool. i have a question, which is at 20:13 when you add the label, i wanted to add a different label texture. so when i did the all the vertices except the can on the Uv mapping were stretched . i dont know if thats a red flag but why does that happen? is there a way around this?
I have an issue, the image texture scatters across the whole can even with marked seem and selected faces it still covers the whole can. how can I fix that?
Hi, nice tutorial, I selected the faces I want to wrap the image on and added the seams to mark it's parameters. But when I select the image and assign it, it wraps the entire can the top and bottom also. How can I fix this issue. I tried it in both Evee and Cycles the same issue.
Sorry I made a cut there. I used the basic scale and position functions after the "follow active quads" to just move it there but it looks slightly weird because of the cut.
@@InsidetheBoxFilms I just finished this tutorial, the result is awesome. I tried geometry nodes but it doesn't work with metaballs, I followed the particle system from your video. have you tried bagapie modifier add-on?
thank you so much for this amazing tuto . I learned alot of you . just a question, when you change the m ball resolution . why 0.1 looks better than 0.4 ? 🥲 thank you for the new uv unwrap trick you should try the ( uv squares ) add-on it is an easy way to strenghten your mesh
I just started using Blender a week ago, everything is still so overwhelming but this helped me out a lot. Thank you so much 🥺
No problem! I'm so glad it helped. You're right, the world of 3D can be overwhelming just keep working at it and the improvements will come.

@Max Muster so what did you do this past year then
@Max Muster 🐒
I've always used regular flattened spheres for droplets, I had no idea that you could do this with metaballs and get a better results, awesome!
Yeah metaballs are quite cool! Just remembered that they existed a few weeks ago, and thought they could work for this :)
@@InsidetheBoxFilms the result speaks for itself, I'll definitely try them out, thanks for the tip!

Great videos and awesome to see more Wellington creators!!
Great tutorial. I enjoyed it. Thanks a lot for producing it.
Best Can tutorial out there!!!

He just pressed h on the nodes to hide them. He didn't leave the menu, it's the same menu, but with the nodes hided.
Thank you so much for this tutorial

how to delete that first single water drop?

How u select the whole edges in one click
Good day. the "droplets" do not lie on the surface of the can but away. Any solution?
what is the name of the hdr I couldn't find it
The coke texture keeps generating in a mirror image. What can I do?
Active quad dosn't works for me

Thank you so much for this great tutorial. My blender seems to crash when I switch the particle to Hair. Anyone else?
Same 🥺
how to make disappear the original droplet?
Is there a way to export the can including the textures to Element 3D?
Is there a way to animate water?

I have a problem and need to solve: when I completed my render, the drop on the coca it becomes line by line. How can I fix that
Thank you.
How did you bring the streched out UV to its original size at 1:25 ?
Sorry I made a cut there. I used the basic scale and position functions after the "follow active quads" to just move it there but it looks slightly weird because of the cut.
Just finished making the Can! Thanks for the Awesome tutorial!
So glad you liked it!
You should use this addon, much easier. th-cam.com/video/BIUDZZMfGNI/w-d-xo.html
That's a cool addon I'll use it. Thanks!
Great tutorial. How do i hide the original droplet? When i try all the others disappear too. Thanks!
If the particles disappear, just click G on the droplet and move it somewhere far away out of the render camera view. Should work fine.
Wonderful.
thank you so much
instead of particle system can we use geometry nodes?
Yes you totally could! I have only just started playing around with them

my waterdroplet isn't transparency... where i wrong?
change evve from to cycle in render
does anyone know how he selected all of just one object?
Press 'L' and then click the object
Thankyou
My problem is that the drops are white, and cant change it. :(
If i change to cycles, change all my prev lighting
Is there another way for texturing....
it's not kinda a tutorial
Setting up roughness, and then connecting anything to it makes no sense, anyway good tut

please check your mail bro
why i cant render this if using droplet anyoby know the solution?
I solved it. Go to the "Object Data Properties" ---> "Metaball"----> "Render" and delete the 0,01m, then set 0,1m for example.
