MAKING a wall cabinet with glass door in a part-time workshop

- How I made this pretty wall cabinet with drawer and glazed door complete with through tenons, dovetails and hidden hinges. I started with a plan and for reasons, gave up on the plan about half way through when i started winging it (official term)
Working in my small 'pop-up' conservatory come workshop this film shows step by step how I took the design to completion and all the major steps along the way. There are a few things missing because there were so many elements to the design and impossible to get everything into a (reasonably) short video

This video is intended for entertainment purposes only and should not be taken too seriously or used in anyway as instructional - there are plenty of woodworkers out there who can do that much better than I can. The temporary nature of the workshop also means that some of my practices could be seen as dubious safety wise but I know what they are and I am fully aware of the risks!!!

That's a cool little cabinet!
Thank you 😁
It's lovely! The design changes, aka happy accidents, just prove that it's a one of a kind piece. You say "winging it," I say "design-build." [Edit] I like the ash drawer bottoms.
Thank you so much. I will now think of any winging I do as ad hoc design-build features.
