Making coat racks in a Day...small workshop woodworking

Big woodwork projects take a lot of planning so with some free time I decided to see what I could build from scratch in a day. I had some lovely ash and some offcuts from other projects. Sometimes it's worth doing something simple like this to reconnect with the wood and tools.
My woodwork workshop is also my conservatory and gets set up and packed up every day so some of the equipment is a bit Heath-Robinson but I like to use a bit of hybrid woodworking - power tools for the heavy stuff and hand tools for a more delicate touch here and there. The temporary nature of the workshop also means that some of my practices could be seen as dubious safety wise but I know what they are and I am fully aware of the risks!!!
