Just one question. There may be something wrong with your 7600. In Cinebench R23, it scored only 8529 points, below the 5600 and 5600x. That's unlikely in normal conditions.
not really Weird. a lot of Intel CPU is also not there 13/14th gen. the 14400f is also way outside 7800X3d price range so there is no point of it being there. having 1 intel / amd cpu to represent the TOP / MID / Low should be enought
Even though there's no real surprises here, it's always good the see the numbers anyway. If Intel can't compete on performance, then they'll need to other something else to entice folk to buy. Such as a drop in price like you suggest, or my wild one, longer platform life.
Can i ask, where did you test Cyberpunk 2077? Just curious, because im tempted to updgrade my 12400F, but when i run the benchmark i still get minimum 90 fps, which is fine. Everything on lowest possible, with medium crowd density.
I'm looking to buy this computer as my first gaming computer and i don't understand specs and how they work but I want to run farming simulator 22 on it will it work smoothly
I got a prebuilt that uses the i5 14400f with a 4060ti card. Most bottleneck calculators show the cpu as being underpowered and suggest an upgrade to an i7 14700k. You're using a far superior gpu and don't seem to be getting the bottleneck. Why is this and am I ok with the i5 14400f and 4060 ti pairing?
Have you updated your bios lately ? Do correct me if mistaken but I think the latest updates undervolt the cpu to minimise damage done due to problems on intel 14 cpu series.
QUESTION: Even if you are saving on the DDR4 memory for Intel VS DDR5 memory for AMD, in the case where you are using SAM/ResizeableBar, are you NOT recuperating that cost improved performance because of the faster memory?
Yes, it affects any cpu with 65w or higher which the 14400f is 65w but I haven't noticed any issues with my 14400f, likely because unlike its older brothers it's base clock is reasonable speed. Supposedly you will see issues 2-4 months after purchase I will follow up if I have any issues first 2 months have been peachy 👍
@@dark_taco Hope you don't have any issues man, this whole situation is a farce on Intel's behalf. I have the same cpu, no problems by far, gotta check for the updates. Also at least what I've read it isn't as vulnerable for these issues like i7s or i9s, still have to watch out.
@@phasmidd107yeah looking more into it thankfully it seemed to only affect i7’s and i9’s 😮💨 glad I got this cpu for a budget daily driver! It’s basically the i9 10900k 4 years later for half the price, can’t go wrong 😂🎉
Funny that you say that. I have that same build and its awesome. Except I have the F variant of the 12400. But I also have that same exact motherboard using 5200mhz ddr5. Runs like a dream! The gpu Im using is the rtx 4060, so my system is very efficient. did you get the 12400 yet? Its a great chip that is very efficient and performance is good when gaming.
An argument could be made for the 1300kf for $235 but then again it's a dead platform. Also, an i9 isn't going to beat a 7800X3D in gaming anytime soon with shitel lying about performance.

Yes, stock 7600 scores about 14k in cb r23. Probably mixed with something else there.
thank you for testing an Intel with good ram...also the 1% lows are worth mentioning because thats what really counts

Have you tried the Intel Core i5 14400F 4.70 GHz 14th Gen in UAE from GCC Gamers yet?
Is this better then a ryzen 5 5600x
It's a bit weird not to have the 7800X3D in the charts, isn't it ??

You should be good you may of used the bottle neck calculator wrong don’t worry it happens to everyone

Just because it’s faster doesn’t mean better.
Memory speed wont make as big of a difference unless it's something that the application can make use of specifically
Is this cpu affected by the intel meltdown? Can’t seem to get an answer from anyone.

tl;dr just buy the 5600 paired with 3600 CL16 if you're on a lower budget or 7600 with a little bit more cash.
The 12600kf is currently quite a lot cheaper than the 14400f and is about 5% faster at stock clocks.

Comment to troll: u got wrong here 20:34 hahahahaha.
Nice Benchmark, almost nobody has done this 14gen non-k cpus comparison.
In the sense of through the multiplier. You know what I meant 😜
how abt 14500 @270$
12600 kf its better for 150 dollars.
shave your arms!
Lol worst comment ever 😂
not worth now when zen5 cous will come soon and you will get with 80$ cheap am5+r5 9600x better gaming then with 14900ks
@gravvy14 we all believe in lying AMD benches on CES and shithole leakers
