    Whenever I eat food with meat I feel sick, but whenever I eat like seafood and vegetables and none meat products my stomach doesn't hurt or I don't feel like I have to throw up. I'm a huge sushi fan!🍱😁 I may consider this next year and see how it goes!👍🏼

    Followed a pescetarian lifestyle for about a year and i loved it. Was cheap, more nutritious, and I felt more energy in my daily life. Only downside was I consumed WAY more than 12 ounces of fish per week. Currently a vegetarian now but took a lot of recipes from this lifestyle! Great vid!

      Good for you! It's totally worth it! I became a pescetarian at 18 after watching the documentary Food Inc in biology class and was horrified about how farm animals were treated and I decided that I didn't want to eat meat anymore but even though I love all animals ,vegetarian food was at times very hard to come by and I felt so much stronger when eating fish. The way I see it, whether someone is vegetarian, vegan or pescetarian, they're still taking a stand on reducing animal suffering.

    Taking a broccoli sprout extract that i forgot the name of, you can increase your free glutathione levels to help chelate heavy and radioactive metals, like mercury. I haven't done enough research to confirm whether Gerson was right about coffee (especially wwhere he tells you to put it) but green coffee seed extract may contain glutathione s-transferase, an enzyme that supposedly increases the release/free blood level/production of glutathione.
    I read about the dietary minerals copper, sulphur, and zinc as heavy metal chelators. Ithink it goes like this: We get too much iron (typically from all the wheat) and it bogs down coppers ability to chelate other metals, by sheer quantity. If you get enough copper to remove the iron, your copper is too high. Zinc chelates copper, and zinc isn't all that toxic by comparison, but imbalance is imbalance. Sulfur goes and takes care of the zinc (i think it gets the other metals out too) , as it is pretty much the main mineral player in detoxification. In fact, now i remember what the broccoli extract is called - Sulforaphane. It too is a sulfur-containing molecule. Here's to your wisdom, courage, and power! May the way of the hero lead to the Triforce!

    I am a pescetarian! I actually don't eat eggs directly (things made with eggs, I will eat). I always felt that was a little strange as it comes from an animal is and their birth. But I guess the eggs sold at stores aren't actual unborn babies... Right? I am always so confused about that. hahahaha

    I grew up as a pescetarian without knowing. I always told my teachers and friends that I simply don't eat meat. And they told me I was a vegetarian. But when they noticed I was eating fish they were " Oh , so you are not a vegtarian." No one around me knew what my diet was called so I had to always say " I don't eat meat but I do eat fish." For many people meat and fish are exactly the same so it was complicated when eating together.
    Only years later I learned about the word pescetarian. And nowadays more people seem to know about it. Although my diet changed somewhat since I started avoiding dairies.
    So for me it's mostly vegetables and seafood.

      It is cruel, actually. I really don't understand how pescatarians do any good by just not eating land animals. Eating seafood is not ethical too. Going vegan is probably the best option if you don't wanna think if you're hurting anyone🌱

  • @MrMusicCreations
    @MrMusicCreations 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I became a Pescetarian partly for it's health benefits but mainly from the philosophy that I am not prepared to eat anything that I couldn't kill. It is not lost on me that fish have to be killed and yes I have eaten fish that I have caught and therefore killed. But I could not kill a bird, or mammal therefore I don't eat them. I eat fish but not often, mainly Quorn actually which if you are mainly a chicken eater, you really should try, in pasta dishes with the sauces you would usually use with chicken there is so little difference in texture that I guarantee you switch in a moment. When you are young you often pay little heed to what you are putting into your body but as you get older and you start seeing people around you dying perhaps earlier than they should. You do start to question what maybe they did wrong and what you could do to keep yourself healthy and alive for as long as possible. Eating red meat in quantity, lovely as it may taste is also not recommended for a healthy lifestyle.

    Thinking of turning a pescetarian from a vegetarian and was wondering if this is a good route to go ? Just feel like my body needs more protein and nutrients

    when you do it you have to factor 2 things is it for health or for living things. if its for health great it helps the furry animals also and you are doing something that will help you. but now if you are willing to give things up and truly want to protect all living things then do not do it or become a vegetarian but instead become a vegan. now understanding. understand its not as easy as she sys fore some people giving up meet is hard that was me but a health scare helped me to do the research and change and I found it got easy down the line and what helped me get rid of meet was eating eggs and fake meets like morning star foods once I got past the meet cravings I was able to cut down on processed vegie meet witch is loaded in salt. and now things are great. you also will have to look at the fact that if you chose to do this you never want to cheet and it will take work to find out witch foods you have to eat to get the neturishion you need and you do want to limit eggs to 3 a day and you will probly need to take a multi vitamin every day like men or womon over 50 vitamin its the best one I get mine from Walmart. as far as to much fish that more dependent on how you fee about eating them but then again you are not watching this video as a person who is agenst eating them. and as far as what she sys about taking things that strip metals from the body that can be bad if dun to much even once a month fore some as it not only strips the bad but the good. and we do require some things for are brain to work right. but the worst part is things that strip metals go past the blood brain barrier and that can kill look it up.

    I've heard that becoming Pescetarian can make you loose weight?? I got an intestinal tract infection recently and lost some weight so as soon as I get back to my set weight I wanted to challenge myself to become Pescetarian because I hardly eat meat as it is and I really want to live and eat healthier. Do you know of some ways to avoid the weight loss that may come from the change in diet?

    Why are eggs eaten since it is an unborn chicken? Also, isn't shellfish unhealthy since they are bottom feeders?

      I think that eggs sold for human consumption are unfertilized.

      Beachangel1221 from what I have heard most of the eggs people buy are not fertilized so it is not a baby chicken

    Steph and Adam - Very informative video. But at 0:45, you say "all fish have traces of mercury" and talk about keeping fish intake to a limit. What is mercury exactly and is it bad for you then? I'm assuming it is....? I'm not sure, thanks
