    Hey Guys!
    I hope you enjoy today's video. I wrote all the meal details for this video in the description box with macros + measurements per meal...I hope you feel inspired to get in the kitchen.
    Let me know what you would like to see next? Should we make the meal prep videos more often, or do you prefer the FDOE? or Both?

      Good luck to you!! It was hard for me to figure out New Mexican cuisine with vegan ingredients, but I did it!! Here I am 4 years later. I would suggest lentils to replace ground beef and refried pinto beans may also help. Tofu is good when it's been cooked to death and is slightly chewy (pepper, cumin, and salt make it chicken flavored). I hope this is helpful/encouraging.

      The beginnings are very hard. I had zero idea what to make for breakfast or for dinner, how am I gonna eat on the parties etc. But trust me, after some time, research and few tries and fails, vegan cooking is just cooking. You'll look at some meat or dairy recipes and you'll have an idea how to veganize them. I've been vegan for 6 years and it gets so normal to eat like that😊

    • @lindsaytoussaint
      @lindsaytoussaint 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good luck! Hope you’re doing well. I so understand this - my family is Haitian. We use a lot of veg but it was still meat focused, so going vegan was like “what is a meal?!” LOL Just know the whole lot of us went through that! Also make it fun like “what can I discover or try this week” - for me that worked. I’m still trying out new vegetables 6 years later 😂

    Here in germany it isn’t allowed to call plantbased products milk, or cheese (for example its not called oatmilk, vegan cheese. Its called oatdrink, Connoisseur slices). Its because to limit the risk of confusion with the dairy products. But this regulation is only for the vegan stuff. Other food or even cleaning products like scouring milk are ok. Well… :)

I am an aspiring IFBB athlete & the meal plans I get from coaches here are 70% meat and I HATE it, I genuinely just do not enjoy it, but I believed it was something I HAD to do to build muscle and get lean. Since watching your videos (only found you super recently) I managed to find Seitan & have it very night for dinner now & it makes the world of difference even having one less meat meal a day. Hello! Thank you so much for this video. It was so helpful. I was curious on your thoughts or experience with freezing these meals? If I needed to prep for the whole week at once, could you freeze three of the meals?

    Just starting doing this vegan stuff. It’s overwhelming and tons of cooking and ingredients/seasonings.
    Did it seem like this to anyone else?

      Yes. Vegan eating can be a whole lot easier if you just stick to whole foods, not processed. She has to follow a very regimented complex diet for her particular workout schedule, I suppose.

    I can't wait to try these recipes. Did you use fresh or canned artichoke?

    I subscribed because you made tofu look appetizing! I also like that artichoke and spinach dish.

    I just want to know why it took me so long to find her. I’ve been vegan for 7 years and lifting for 4-5 years. And it’s not just oats and tofu and broccoli

    I find it hard to get my protein because it's so much easier to eat bread and other carbs. I think I get enough, but I could get more. Thanks for the video!!
