Assassin’s Creed Rogue is a really underrated game! Shay was a great protagonist considering the fact that he sacrificed himself and his career as an assassin for the greater good of humanity. It was the first game to give players the chance to play as a Templar. Furthermore, the game had excellent shanties and music, as well as naval combat, and there were many fun activities. As far as the characters go, there were some great side characters in this story, like George Monro, Haytham Kenway, and Adewale, etc. It's not the best Assassin's Creed game, but it deserves way more attention than it received. In the future, it would be interesting if Ubisoft released another game with Shay or another game with a Templar perspective.

This is most noticeable in the economy, its like nobody was sure on what the value of the currency should be.
I always loved Rogue and still do. It's honestly better than 4 imo. We get two areas for sailing (River Valley and Atlantic), and a large area for land exploration (Manhattan and parts of River Valley). Also the fact that you play as a Templar is really cool.
Rogue is basically better than Black Flag in most ways except Story and Protagonist imo. The world and soundtracks are debatable. I love both OSTs. However give me a selection of 3 medium sized maps over one big open world any day. It's a reason I preferred AC2 over Brotherhood. Gameplay on land and naval is obviously a more refined version of AC4.
Rogue was one of the first AC games I played and is really the game that made me REALLY fall in love with Assassins Creed. After Rogue AC went from a game franchise I like to one I love! Shay is such a great protagonist and the story is beautifully and yes the main theme of Rogue is the best score of any AC game ever (maybe tied with Origins main menu theme). Rogue is extremely underrated. “I make my own luck, LIAM”
This is the first and only assassin's Creed game that I played and I was so shocked and had so much fun and I can't believe that this was the forgotten child in the AC series. It makes me wonder how good will other games who were given time to flourish be
We need another AC game where we play as a templar, feels cool seeing it from their perspective for a change. Only this time we start off as a nobody, join the templars & make our way up the ranks. Maybe even give us a Ezio equivalent character with a trilogy of games.
One of my favorite video games off all time. I agree on most of your points. Underrated gem and with just a little more variety and a little longer story( maybe at least 8 sequences) this game would be held in high regards like BF. but I am glad now people are seeing Rogue for what it is!
So...I got into Assassin's Creed back in the winter of 2020. With the pandemic and everything and with a wife working as a nurse....The world was quite the scary place...I was working from home and absolutley fell in love with the series, started out with the Ezio Collection and made my way trough all of em in a span of a few weeks...Assassin's Creed Rogue has by far been my favourite, i love the "depth" of Shay, he's way more intresting then many of the other assassin's with that he's much more conflicted then many of the others we get to play as. The ending is also probably the best endning i have ever seen in a game to be fair.
rogue was my sixth assassin's creed game experience. been a fan since the original game came out. And i must say,i've played most of the game franchise and heres an honest review of rogue It is my third favorite game in the series and it's just awesome. The winter experience is awesome. The pirate-like experience like ACBF made me fell in love with the game. The stealth AI got improved ALOT. If your favorite AC game is BF(like me), this game is a must play For the best experience, I reccomend playing the game from AC 3,4 then rogue. its system is similliar to each other. The story line of the game is not betrayal, but fixing which is soo good
I ended up getting the whole series and dlc idk when I'll get around to beating all of them but hey 😁 your videos have convinced me to try out the series.
AC Rogue was my very 1st AC Game & Introduction to the Franchise. And I absolutely loved it. Shay Patrick Cormac was the most interesting character I had ever played up until that point. As much as I was new, I did indeed feel that this game was short and could have been fleshed out more
I just finished rouge for the first time yesterday, and it was a lot better than I though. Definitely not the best AC game but I really enjoyed it and I loved seeing Achilles and Haytham again. The main flaw of this game is that the story was too short to be properly developed but what we got was great.
I would love to see a series like: Shay vs… (any assassin) It would be fun to put Shay as an literal assassin hunter against the actual master assassins we know from the games. Especially Shay vs arno because of their backstory
It was my second ac game and I loved it, from the story, gameplay and soundtrack. I thought it was a really unique take on the AC games and one of my favourites
I’m also replaying the AC games and rating them based off of Story, Protagonist, Gameplay and Map. I never played Rogue because I had next gen and did Unity. I was so pleasantly surprised with rogue after just finishing and it is so high on my list!
The stalkers show the potential of an Assassins vs Templars multiplayer game. The fact they’re AI controlled makes them less of a challenge to the more practiced players, and putting an actual person at the controls so you’re either trying to assassinate a player or trying to outsmart a human controlled assassin would be quite the experience and a new take on a multiplayer.
That sounds like a good idea but making something like PvP coop in assassin's creed games is something ubisoft had never done and i don't want them to do it either they try anything new and it fails most of the time
After playing through Rogue and getting a roughly 80% completion rate, I can see why the Colonial Brotherhood is considered by many a weak and broken brotherhood when they were messing around and trying to disturb the precursor temples that as stated have the power to destroy cities. It was sad to see Shay have to fight and kill his friends (especially Adewale if you played AC4 beforehand and to an extent Freedom cry) and as well as the game showing both sides with the Assassins and Templars and found myself seeing how both sides in of themselves can be good (or bad) and finally the modern day sections, only really explored for the tablets to get the best pistols and that was it. It was boring and I hated when the experience was interrupted to do some random task for this girl that had an annoying voice (I actually muted voices during the modern day sections until I got back into the animus)
Good video. I do agree Rogue is quite underrated. The idea of an Assassin turned Templar is interesting as you explore each side and how they operate. While it does copy from Black Flag, it still fun. I need to replay this too!
I really liked AC rogue I remember I got it as a Christmas present the year it came out. I had no Idea it even existed till that morning. I hope we can get a future game from the templars side or one like your AC Revenge video
I love how this game shows us that the assassins vs Templars conflict isn’t so black and white. And that there’s a lot of gray. I also like knowing that not all Templars are bad and not all assassins are good.
Story of Rogue is very underrated. According to me, its very short, packed and tight story. There's no bulshitting points (unlike latest titles). I have enjoyed Rogue a lot.
rogue was the first ac game i really played. at a steam sale i got ac one and rogue for 4 euros or something, played one, fell out of it partially because of the controls. months later i tried rogue and loved it, got more ac games after that
I actually finished it last week after playing it for the first time, Honestly one of favorite Assassins Creed game It’s got me saying “I make my own luck” every chance I get and it shows us another side of the Templars and made me question the ideology of the Assassins vs the Templars Also, one of my favorite protagonists in Shay
Played both Assassin's Creed III and Black Flag, I love both of the story, especially when "Parting Glass" music started, I feel sad that Kenway wasn't met his wife at last. Thanks for your review, was thinking which should I buy. Let me continue the story on both Rogue and Unity, it should be more completed.
Shay is my second favorite protagonist only beat out by Ezio because I started in assassin‘s creed. 2 but I love the gameplay I just finished it for the second time in the past two years fourth time overall and I’m trying to 100% everything I love the game. Amazing story and it might honestly be my second favorite game.
This was the first AC game that I thoroughly played through and I absolutely loved it this game made me fall in love with the AC franchise and now I'm trying to complete them all. I even loved it so much that I bought the remastered version on ps5 so I can play it again even tho I had already bought and played it on the original console it was released on. I remember my older brother playing the first AC game and the ezio game was when I was a kid and I only saw little bits of it because he wouldn't let me watch and that just made me more curious about it so now that I'm older I'm completely in love with this franchise and I have AC Rouge to thank for it❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤
Personally I loved it. When it came out, I didn’t have the (then) next-gen system, so I waited to get Unity until after (most of) the bugs were fixed. I loved how Rogue kind of flipped the script. My only major complaint was how short it was.
Well, I literally just bought Rogue yesterday and this video pops up. I absolutely love the game and the story of Shay Patrick Cormac but you can definitely tell the developers wanted to give it a lot more care and attention than what they had to work with but it ultimately still came out to be a solid game even with the lackluster resources.
I actually think they should make more games following the templars. Let us play as the antagonist for once. It felt so cool to run around wearing Templar colors and do Templar things like get hunted by assassins or not getting kicked out of the game for killing civilians
The grenade launcher I adored bc when I got this game I still had a massive loathing for the grenade bastards in previous games so it felt AMAZING to give them a taste of their own medicine
Still my favourite game in the series, it took everything I enjoyed from Black Flag and improved upon it. I love the setting too, really weak to winter areas.
Another thing I like with AC: Rogue is that there are certains settlements that you traverse cross via land. There is no need to circle around thru the sea on the same island.
A can totally agree the best way to play is rogue > ac3 and maybe ac4 before rogue The game is special to me the reason is , it was made by Ubisoft Sofia Bulgaria , where I was born. I didn’t even know until the very end of the game where the developers left a little Easter egg I suppose something hilarious written in Bulgarian language. Have a great day brothers assassins
I love playing this game so and this game much to infinity ♾️ and nice to watch this review and ving together about assassins creed rogue and anything about assassins creed and in general being together and spending love and time together❤❤❤❤❤
I remember I actually was holding onto my 360 cause I just loved it and I ended up pre-ordering both Unity/Rogue. Rogue was my favorite of the two, it just had a great setting imo and Shay is a great protagonist. I wanna go back to play Unity cause I sold it before it was polished and never beat it.
Because of this video I’m playing the story in order starting with black flag. I already 100% Black Flag and now I’m working on Rogue, after that it’s AC3 and then Unity. I’m gonna try and 100% all of the games, not losing my sanity will be the real challenge.
I will die on the hill that if Ubisoft were to ever Remake any trilogy in the series, it should be IV, Rogue and III. The disjointed, lack of chronology in this trilogy is irksome, but how much each game learns from it’s predecessor could be used to better each game as a whole. I’m so glad you said this explicitly cause it bothers the hell out of me.
Great review and the last 10 sec of the video were fire. But there are some false information; 1. Combat did change You got the firecrackers that work like the blood bombs from Revelations kinda, bounty hunters and ofc stalkers. Especially the air assassination fights were great af. 2. Parkour did change They added the new scaffold automatic stuff which are good IMO tho I prefer climbing scaffolds manually in AC4, tho they were rare. They also re-introduced civilian air tackle and air assassination making the parkour a bit better. I enjoyed 'flying' on flags and the cheap zipppines, besides its the only game that has those unless Revelations and Origins, Syndicate partually. 3. Boarding is not the same You can get boarded by enemies now which is pointless unless you have a difficulty changer mod 4. In fact Rogue has better graphics Black Flag has an exotic boost but the textures and graphics are 5% better in Rogue
Could you make a video about "what makes Michael de santa a great protagonist" his story is so special , he betrayed his crew then became a retired old depressed man, having a bad family and even worse freinds and then he meets Franklin the he gets back to his old life even though he doesn't wanna come back to his old life but he just can't control himself then his old mistakes comes back to hunt him (other things happens im just too lazy to type it)
I honestly felt like rogue needed some more development time and it was also weird because it seemed like an improved version of Black flag with certain elements was almost like a really big black flag DLC
I found out the team were given 8 months to make Rogue. Given that, I think what they achieved is even better. Yes it has flaws, but that time constraint is incredible.
This was one of my fav ac games! Because it’s so unique! I loved the return of haythem. And playing as a templar is fun in a way. It shows how each side isn’t evil.
I definitely think it’s worth buying and playing especially if it’s on sale which I’m pretty sure it goes on sale quite a bit. It’s good but not better than most of the games in the series but imo it’s better than the 3 most recent games in the series
Wow can't believe I'm finally early for one of these. Even though I enjoy Rogue and think every AC fan should give it a try, it's definetely among my least favorite of the series. Most people who praise the game tend to focus on the story and Shay's character, but ignore the fact that the way Rogue plays out its premise is as generic as possible (the Assassins and Templars basically switching places for no reason). While I think Shay's "betrayal" of the Assassins is executed well enough and he is justified in his actions, we are given no reason to symphatize with the Templars other than they are nice. For a game with a premise like this, I expected it to be more philosophical (like AC 1 and 3), but instead the premise is wasted on another generic good guys vs bad guys story. Maybe the story would've been better if Shay was written differently, but he loses any bit of personality and intirgue he had after the first act. As for the side characters, they are either generic and forgettable, or unlikeable jerks for no reason (this game managed to make Haytham, one of the best characters in the franchise, boring). As for the gameplay, it's fine, but the problem is that Black Flag didn't have that good land gameplay to begin with, so this is reflected in Rogue. I appreciate all the little improvements, but they're not enough to salvage Black Flag's gameplay. And the world is just one of the worst in the series. The North Atlantic is beautiful enough at night, but it's a boring mess of copy pasted island, and the other two parts of the map, I just didn't care for them (not to mention the River Valley is completely made up). Overall, Rogue is a perfectly fine game, it's fun to play in spite of its flawed gameplay and boring world, but I just can't get over how Ubisoft completely wasted this premise and treated some of the characters. 7/10 (only get it if you like Black Flag's gameplay or are a hardcore fan of the series) If you made it to the end of this essay, good job. Here, have a lolipop 🍭
Rouge is by far my favorite assassins creed its a real shame that it is so short like you can play through the game in 4 to 6h I think its one of my most replayed games of all time I wish they would do another one where you play a templar
for anyone wondering what timeline rogue falls under it's the part of the AC3 timeline and fits in years before AC3 and a couple years after AC4 and shows you how the Creed brotherhood of the 13 colonies fell under the boot of haytham kenway and Shay McCormick
Rogue was a great game for how it flipped the usual script. Especially how they upgraded the eagle vision to work against the assassins, It felt like Shay had a spidey sense. They should make another game based on the same premise To play on the Templar's point of view, Like trying to take down a bunch of radicalist, or misguided Assassins a different branch that lost its way. Or another idea would be To make a game where you get to choose which side you want to be on, and be able to play the story from both point of views on 2 different play throws
Rogue didn’t quite have the same awesome vibe that Black Flag had but that’s because it is a completely different type of story. Black Flag was no doubt a better game but the way they changed things up but still kept it revolving around a ship captain type of story was actually amazing. The idea of having 2 different maps that were both very different from each other and diffferent from black flag was a great idea. Also being a Templar and having assassins hunting you was a great addition. PLUS you actually get the rope dart at a reasonable time in the game and can actually use it lol
AC ROGUE IS A MUST I THINK IT'S ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIMELINE OF AC SINCE IT LETS US SEE THE GOAL OF THE OTHER SIDE, TEMPLAR IN THIS TIMELINE IS KINDA RIGHT JUST BECAUSE OF SHAYS ACTIONS, THE WAY HE SACRIFICED HIS ASSASSIN PATH JUST TO STOP THE ASSASSINS AND TO SAVE HUMANITY, IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE SHAY HUNTING DOWN ASSASSIN OR CONNOR HUNTS DOWN SHAY I JUST HOPE THEY BRING BACK THE OLD AC MECHANICS
Using Shay as an assassin gone templar is a fantastic dynamic that bridged the storylines together by giving us an "outsider pov" of the current and past affairs of both factions at large, in addition to key character motivations across AC3/AC4. Honestly, Rogue is positioned excellently in the storyline and completed the Kenway Saga in the Americas in order for a new storyline to emerge. Rogue will always be the outlier to the franchise and should not be considered its own game and instead a DLC to black flag, that ending scene alone is an iconic cliffhanger that introduces us to Unity.
Not even watching this video just wanting to say yes, best scenario in the whole assassin franchise it’s just a shame that the game is very short in terms of story but it’s probably one of my favorite one
I just finished this game for the 4th time, and it's one of my favorite as a character/s and lot of other things in it. Also I like to be a Templar over an Assassin.
@George Thomas Best advice if you like to have a variety of Outfits & weapons start looking for them ahead & craft armor as soon as u can if possible, collect whatever comes in your way. Black flag is amazing I'd like a remake. But I hope there's another AC as a Templar game in the future.
Really, really good review. I wasn't a fan of Rogue (mostly because I was an AC VI BF mega fan), but you raise some really good points on the pros and cons of Rogue. Might replay after watching this 👍
Story wise i really enjoyed playing AC Rogue, yeah it is similar to Black flag in terms of gameplay, the visuals and the level of details are also less in Rogue compared to Black flag, but still it holds up well.
They had 4 games to fix anvilnext and get the parkour working the way it was meant to. Ubisoft didn't eserve this franchise. They have done nothing but squander it.
THis is one of the strongest AC games in the series. It's a shame that players ignore it. In my opinion it's better than Valhalla (way to big and boring) And playing as a Templar is an awesome idea! It's not always black and white that Assassins are good and Templars are bad.

It makes me wonder how good will other games who were given time to flourish be
Try Unity and the DLC Dead Kings on current-gen 🔥
We need another AC game where we play as a templar, feels cool seeing it from their perspective for a change. Only this time we start off as a nobody, join the templars & make our way up the ranks. Maybe even give us a Ezio equivalent character with a trilogy of games.
Im actually kind of glad that rogue came out when it did ,its a blessing for people lile me with a potato laptop
And i must say,i've played most of the game franchise and heres an honest review of rogue
It is my third favorite game in the series and it's just awesome.
The winter experience is awesome.
The pirate-like experience like ACBF made me fell in love with the game.
The stealth AI got improved ALOT.
If your favorite AC game is BF(like me), this game is a must play
For the best experience, I reccomend playing the game from AC 3,4 then rogue. its system is similliar to each other.
The story line of the game is not betrayal, but fixing which is soo good
One of my favorite ac games. Seeing the templars side was awesome and I love it. My 4th or 3rd favorite game in the series.
I finished today and loved it, it was an interesting take and a cool part between the story of the Kenway family
I would love to see a series like: Shay vs… (any assassin)
It would be fun to put Shay as an literal assassin hunter against the actual master assassins we know from the games. Especially Shay vs arno because of their backstory
Hmmm Shay Vs Ezio I wonder who would win
It was my second ac game and I loved it, from the story, gameplay and soundtrack. I thought it was a really unique take on the AC games and one of my favourites
I’m also replaying the AC games and rating them based off of Story, Protagonist, Gameplay and Map. I never played Rogue because I had next gen and did Unity. I was so pleasantly surprised with rogue after just finishing and it is so high on my list!
It was underrated game and was enjoyable to play when it was remastered. It was one of the few games I actually 100% completed.
It was sad to see Shay have to fight and kill his friends (especially Adewale if you played AC4 beforehand and to an extent Freedom cry) and as well as the game showing both sides with the Assassins and Templars and found myself seeing how both sides in of themselves can be good (or bad)
and finally the modern day sections, only really explored for the tablets to get the best pistols and that was it. It was boring and I hated when the experience was interrupted to do some random task for this girl that had an annoying voice (I actually muted voices during the modern day sections until I got back into the animus)
Otso Berg is literally the only interesting Abstergo concept anymore
I am playing Rogue for the first time right now on my switch. It is great!
Good video. I do agree Rogue is quite underrated. The idea of an Assassin turned Templar is interesting as you explore each side and how they operate. While it does copy from Black Flag, it still fun. I need to replay this too!
Criminally underrated game. Probably #2 or #3 for me in the series. Better than black flag for sure.
Rogue is my favorite part of the saga. Beautifully done.
I have enjoyed Rogue a lot.
rogue was the first ac game i really played. at a steam sale i got ac one and rogue for 4 euros or something, played one, fell out of it partially because of the controls. months later i tried rogue and loved it, got more ac games after that
I actually finished it last week after playing it for the first time,
Honestly one of favorite Assassins Creed game
It’s got me saying “I make my own luck” every chance I get and it shows us another side of the Templars and made me question the ideology of the Assassins vs the Templars
Also, one of my favorite protagonists in Shay
One of those moments where I tapped on the top of the screen the moment the notification popped up
For me Rogue is in my top 5 thanks to story, world, music and everyting. I really love this game.
I remember my older brother playing the first AC game and the ezio game was when I was a kid and I only saw little bits of it because he wouldn't let me watch and that just made me more curious about it so now that I'm older I'm completely in love with this franchise and I have AC Rouge to thank for it❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤
Your such a good TH-cam creator
I respect it and shay is scary he destroyed some of the most Elite assassins
Personally I loved it. When it came out, I didn’t have the (then) next-gen system, so I waited to get Unity until after (most of) the bugs were fixed. I loved how Rogue kind of flipped the script. My only major complaint was how short it was.
AC Rouge is way too underrated, Shay is a great character and I really love his devolopment and it is definitivly worth the buy
Underrated Entry. If you loved Black Flag’s gameplay, give it a whirl!
ac rogue was one of the best optimised game on PC at that time...
The grenade launcher I adored bc when I got this game I still had a massive loathing for the grenade bastards in previous games so it felt AMAZING to give them a taste of their own medicine
Shay Is Right Because He doesn't want to Level Cites And Kill Thousands Of People Shay Is Awesome His Voice is Calming
Still my favourite game in the series, it took everything I enjoyed from Black Flag and improved upon it. I love the setting too, really weak to winter areas.
My first memory of rogue was when I skipped Halloween as a 12 year old to play it all night with a 2 liter of Pepsi and a pizza to myself, good times
Another thing I like with AC: Rogue is that there are certains settlements that you traverse cross via land. There is no need to circle around thru the sea on the same island.
I love it because the storyline and his deadlines is so good and it is such an underrated game
A can totally agree the best way to play is rogue > ac3 and maybe ac4 before rogue
The game is special to me the reason is , it was made by Ubisoft Sofia Bulgaria , where I was born.
Make this video a drinking game. Every time he says Black Flag, take a shot. Lmk if you make it through the end without black flagging out. 😂
Rogue was my second ac game, and I have very fond memories of it
Because of this video I’m playing the story in order starting with black flag. I already 100% Black Flag and now I’m working on Rogue, after that it’s AC3 and then Unity. I’m gonna try and 100% all of the games, not losing my sanity will be the real challenge.
12:18 you can charge with you ship in black flag, you just have to defeat all of the legendary ships first.
Well rogue is the first ac I ever played and I definitely loved....this game is the reason i played origins, unity, black flag, ac 2, brotherhood
I will die on the hill that if Ubisoft were to ever Remake any trilogy in the series, it should be IV, Rogue and III. The disjointed, lack of chronology in this trilogy is irksome, but how much each game learns from it’s predecessor could be used to better each game as a whole. I’m so glad you said this explicitly cause it bothers the hell out of me.
i miss the Navel combat system..... both Rouge and Black Flag had the ships and i just fell in love with that..
Great review and the last 10 sec of the video were fire. But there are some false information;
1. Combat did change
You got the firecrackers that work like the blood bombs from Revelations kinda, bounty hunters and ofc stalkers. Especially the air assassination fights were great af.
2. Parkour did change
They added the new scaffold automatic stuff which are good IMO tho I prefer climbing scaffolds manually in AC4, tho they were rare. They also re-introduced civilian air tackle and air assassination making the parkour a bit better. I enjoyed 'flying' on flags and the cheap zipppines, besides its the only game that has those unless Revelations and Origins, Syndicate partually.
3. Boarding is not the same
You can get boarded by enemies now which is pointless unless you have a difficulty changer mod
4. In fact Rogue has better graphics
Black Flag has an exotic boost but the textures and graphics are 5% better in Rogue
i love this video 👍👍👍 exactly what i needed to determine if i should buy the game or not, its on sale on xbox one right noe for 8.99
Could you make a video about "what makes Michael de santa a great protagonist" his story is so special , he betrayed his crew then became a retired old depressed man, having a bad family and even worse freinds and then he meets Franklin the he gets back to his old life even though he doesn't wanna come back to his old life but he just can't control himself then his old mistakes comes back to hunt him (other things happens im just too lazy to type it)
I honestly felt like rogue needed some more development time and it was also weird because it seemed like an improved version of Black flag with certain elements was almost like a really big black flag DLC
I found out the team were given 8 months to make Rogue. Given that, I think what they achieved is even better. Yes it has flaws, but that time constraint is incredible.
I haven’t played Rogue yet maybe I’ll check it out! I just wanted to play all the mainline games first
This was one of my fav ac games!
7/10 (only get it if you like Black Flag's gameplay or are a hardcore fan of the series)
If you made it to the end of this essay, good job. Here, have a lolipop 🍭
They could have had Shays missions in France appear at the end of AC 3. That would have been an epic plot twist, then have Shay appear in Unity.
Rouge is by far my favorite assassins creed its a real shame that it is so short like you can play through the game in 4 to 6h
I think its one of my most replayed games of all time I wish they would do another one where you play a templar
for anyone wondering what timeline rogue falls under it's the part of the AC3 timeline and fits in years before AC3 and a couple years after AC4 and shows you how the Creed brotherhood of the 13 colonies fell under the boot of haytham kenway and Shay McCormick
ac rogue was my first ac game, and i played it again and fell in love with it
Rogue was a great game for how it flipped the usual script.
5:45 so Rouge is a “pre-sequel”.
A sequel to ac4 but a prequel to ac3
Rogue didn’t quite have the same awesome vibe that Black Flag had but that’s because it is a completely different type of story. Black Flag was no doubt a better game but the way they changed things up but still kept it revolving around a ship captain type of story was actually amazing. The idea of having 2 different maps that were both very different from each other and diffferent from black flag was a great idea. Also being a Templar and having assassins hunting you was a great addition. PLUS you actually get the rope dart at a reasonable time in the game and can actually use it lol
@Blaze assasins creed 3 is my favourate but everyone has different taste
I’ve had it in my library forever got it for 9$ a while ago and played it on ps5 literally today and it’s awesome.
AC ROGUE IS A MUST I THINK IT'S ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIMELINE OF AC SINCE IT LETS US SEE THE GOAL OF THE OTHER SIDE, TEMPLAR IN THIS TIMELINE IS KINDA RIGHT JUST BECAUSE OF SHAYS ACTIONS, THE WAY HE SACRIFICED HIS ASSASSIN PATH JUST TO STOP THE ASSASSINS AND TO SAVE HUMANITY, IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE SHAY HUNTING DOWN ASSASSIN OR CONNOR HUNTS DOWN SHAY I JUST HOPE THEY BRING BACK THE OLD AC MECHANICS
thank you so much for this review, rogue honestly is a great assassins creed game and shay is so loveable even if he is a templar
As a assassin from the Bulgaran brotherhood. I say the game it's gold game from good (Bulgarian) studio
Rogue was the first ac game i played, so i kinda have a bond with the game.
I remember getting beat up by kesegowase when i first played the game.
Might replay after watching this 👍
So the order to play these games now is Black Flag, Rogue, AC 3, then AC Unity?
Rogue is always my underrated take and to this day is one of my favorite games in the series and one of my favorites games period.
