- If you've seen one of these videos from me before you know the drill. In this video I play Assassin's Creed Unity and try to survive for as long as possible and when I die the video ends. I did this for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins so I was really excited to do this for Assassin's Creed Unity.

In AC1 you can die often if you don't go with stealth
Not really you can still get killed in the previous ac games like in any game that has counter based mechanics

That death was so anticlimactic. Especially after fending off all those enemies at the staircase. To die to a sole enemy afterwards... it made my day. Not only a master assassin but a master entertainer as well.

@@TangibleCheese stay consistent and videos need to be well put together, you also need to start off with a certain genre of content and try to play very popular or new games like spiderman 2 when it comes out

iirc the texture artifacting problems on architecture happens when your game goes above 120 FPS, so capping it to 120 or lower will solve the issue
FXAA makes it so that your game doesn’t render what you can’t see, in other words until you can see it, it won’t load in. TXAA loads in everything in a certain radius that’s why with TXAA on your game runs worse because it is loading a lot more than FXAA. hope this helps

Ubisoft needs to make a remake for this game. They can remove the bugs, ass animations for when multiple people attack one person at the same time, and just make quality of life updates, and maybe they can make the story better if that isn't too big of a stretch.
1:37 This happened to me a lot in Assassin’s creed IV Black flag. It happened so often. Everytime I went to a city like Havanna or Nassau this happened at all of the buildings. Not sure what it is. Idk sorry

awesome video, but with the gunshots part of the combat you have to watch the little danger indicator, and once it gets brighter red dodge roll 🤘🤘

Idk if they fixed this but in the co-op missions sometimes enemies wouldn’t spawn and you need them to spawn to advance the mission. That made that mission unbeatable.

The rolling consistently works for me. It’s just a matter of precise timing OR spam roll. I’ve noticed that the gun fire can aim at you during your first roll but if you do a quick second roll, the bullet misses Arno’s physical body and hit box.

Never thought of this idea but I neeeded it!
I always thought the detection beneath the floor you was scripted. It happens a *lot* in this game in those types of houses where you meet a target, get ambushed, and forced combat. As for the guy spotting you in the heist mission, I feel like the other guy got alerted by the guy who actually spotted you and ran to you. Because the game has always identified the system as an *alert* system and not a *we now know where you are*.
i think uity is one of the ac games, that had the most potential behind it, if not the most, if they only ever decided that the addet more weappons, and the hidden blade as a weappon.
and of the fixed the bugs, (the most) and espeacially the parkour aaaaah!!! so good

FXAA (Fast Approximate AA) is also called the "blur filter", which for many is preferable in fast moving games since all polygons are treated equally (unlike MSAA, which focuses mainly on "edges") 😄
It is the lesser graphical option, but it makes sense you prefer it since it tends to favor games such as AC - *BUT* it doesn't take into consideration of fast moving polygons from past and future frames, therefore creating weird shimmering artifacts at times. But more FPS so better ofc

The 10 year anniversary is next year, 2024. This game would absolutely benefit from a 3rd party coming in, and actually finishing the QA testing, adding some new legacy drip, and re releasing it.

Is anyone going to notice how the thumbnail looks different because now it seems that he’s using custom made assassin chibis and I like it.
Worked soooo hard for the colour black. Wasn't even black, most outfits are a hideous grey and I couldn't even use it do to bugs and general jankiness. I barely got half way through my second ever playthrough in years. Was really disappointed in the state it's still in, honestly. It had the most potential for an assassins creed game. But some mechanics and the rest of the bugs just make it devastating half the time.

It’s definitely an anti aliasing problem. The stuttering is what you’ll usually see when anti aliasing is involved. I played many games and have seen FXAA issues. Sometimes my entire world just stutters.
Master assassin had actually earned his title 👏 but I wonder if he will accept me as a lieutenant.

I’ve played through Unity fully 3 times, one of those was my 100% all achievements playthrough and I NEVER experienced a single bug in all 3 of those playthroughs. I’ve never had an issue with the game, and it sucks that everyone else does because Unity is up there in one of my more liked AC Games
I only ever got that falling bug where Arno swings his arms
I think instead of one huge genral open map that requires a horse, they should do what the ezio games did and have multiple smaller maps with high quality buildings and objects to make pakour traversal more prominent again like the older games

Ive played most ac games except for ac 3 , Unity , Syndicate , odyssey or Valhalla and i just purchased every ac game today on sale for 8 bucks a piece and i know own every game except mirage and im diving in today and am ready to invest hundreds of hours learning each game and its lore 😂😂 im EXCITED to say the least lol

You only get one save. I know this very well. I went to the dead kings by accident at the end of act 1, there's no way back and no previous saves! Had to do about 2 hours of gameplay getting immediately spotted and 1-shotted before I could get back to the main campaign.

you can actually change the appearance of the hood for example with a mod you need toolkit and i dont quite remember what the name was it of the mod but search for like apearance or somehing like that you can have for example the arnos hood on and you can change the appearance for it to other hoods without effecting the stats

1:47 My dude, try externally injecting FXAA or SMAA via Reshade or try using FXAA from the driver via the NVCP or Profile Inspector. If all else fails, try MSAAx2 with MFAA (How I usually play).
I go to ac iii when i'm bored cuz of the amazing combat and the parkour is very good
if your playing on xbox you can log into a guest account and have a save less file
You should do this again but with a fresh save using the methods shown by the people in the comments. I did that for a French language playthru.
Also, I refused to get any health increases, so I am a very squishy little assassin running around. Feels great. You're really vulnerable and it feels tense when running away because you can get shot or even turn a corner and get run thru with a sword in the blink of an eye. One of my favorite things about unity is that feeling of vulnerability.
And one of the things I hate most about syndicate is the complete lack of it.
Yeah just finished watching the vid and you really didn't even try. Probably the first vid of yours I was really disappointed with, except maybe that AC 3 where you stopped due to a bug instead of continuing to legitimately get pwned.
The game is much harder if you start from fresh and have shitty weapons, armor and health. It can be quite challenging and requires some good discipline.
And the magic spotting bug is kinda brutal too. Hehehe
