Marmaris is such a diverse resort; clean, green and very friendly locals. One big advantage is that the beaches in the town centre are very conveniently located. I was there in early October 4 years ago when people were still swimming in the sea. Easy to visit nearby towns of Datça and Dalyan too.
The water is amazing just the sand is far too gritty.
Fethiye is better than Marmaris 😀

Been to most of these places over the years. Turkey and its people really are amazing and that's why we will go back time after time. Got my 3 sons going to Turkey with their girlfriends, on their first holidays as adults this year. You just can't beat it, it's an amazing country.

Two are going to Side, one in April, the other in June and my eldest is going with us to Belek in Sept with his girlfriend and baby son. My husband and I are going to Fethiya next month so can not wait.

I am Turkish and have been living in Isparta, Turkey since I was born. - I'm only 14- Isparta is not a well-known city, but it is beautiful. Right next to Antalya. But what I want to tell you is not Isparta. My family's situation is very good and in the past years, we were able to go to luxury hotels where foreign tourists usually go. But we won't be able to go this year because it's really expensive. Dollars and Euros are really valuable here. 1 dollar equals about 17 units. The history of our country is very rich and good in terms of location, but unfortunately I cannot say the same for our economy and many other things. I mean Turkey is a perfect place for foreign Tourists. I think you should see this beautiful country while you have the chance. Turkey has really beautiful historical features and places to visit. I only went to Antalya and Istanbul, but there are many more places in Turkey. I love foreign tourists and talking to them. Have a good holiday in advance, I hope you meet good Turks. Actually you had some of your vacations and it's a bit late but I wanted to write anyway. It's a long post, but thanks for reading. :))

Having worked in Turkey a few times and going there since a child its always held a special place in my heart. It's refreshing to see these kinds of videos showing that Turkey does have more to offer than just marmaris. (As lovely as it is). Icmeler, Sarigerme and köyceğiz are a few of my faves.

I was there 3 years ago, I am coming this July, it is a fantastic country, myself and my wife, 2 of my kids we re on diet, losing weight, because we are going to eat like crazy when we re there . we miss the friendly hospitable compassionate sincere Turkish people. this country have superb scenery, best beaches and excellent local hotels , and please do not Bargain the price everywhere, western people have this crazy notion that everything in Turkey you have to bargain with, ,No, it is not true, and some things and items are what they are, Turks feel insulted even tho they do not want to they lower few dollars to make you happy, but trust me, Turks do not get that Bargain ,because price is correct, they just want to make tourist happy ,so they semile and say ok T2 less just not to disappoint you, but tell me ,can you do that in England or USA? France? not even in Italy, I been all the places, answer is NO ,but they say yes to you, and lower it few dollar to make you happy,, that is the kind of people they are, people from western countries spends $5 on coke in restaurant, but when they come to Turkey, they are so afraid to pay $5 for a hand made basket (just an example) some kid or some lady whom you can tell is poor to begin with and they bargain on the item, on the other hand if you are buying a Silk carpet , some priced $10.000 + or more, there you can bargain, but, please, not for few dollars, do not insult the people, Bargaining few dollar with them , you are automatically saying to that person "you are a dishonest and you are cheating m, so here it is what I think this is worth" to me . such a low class act. I am sorry, if you have to bargain few dollars in your vacation, just stay home please, other than that enjoy the trip, Turkey NOW the entire country is a BARGAIN. go there and enjoy it without worrying for few dollars
You sound like a Turk selling over priced made in China goods trying to pass them off as "hand made" 🤣 people can barter as much as they like its called a free market and its actually traditional even in countries like the UK or the US!

It is a fact that Turkish lira has faced a significant depreciatiation , however I have doubts that now its cheaper for foreign tourists as prices have been at least doubled. But well, it is still cheap for all except for locals.
Pound and dolar value is increasing while TL is loosing. It The prices are high for Turkish people not for pound or dollar conversation.

I lived in Turkey for several years so I have been to most of the places you mention. They are all beautiful. Never been to Alanya so would love you to make a video there. I've been told it's definitely worth a visit. Coming back to Türkiye very soon.

I have visited Turkey 12 times in 12 years. Been to Lara Beach,Altinkum,Side twice,Turgetries,Olu Deniz 3 times,and Kusadasi 4 times. Weather brilliant,areas lovely,and wife a master at haggling now lol

@@danielwharton8752 Hi yes go to big bus stop and ask for Kas bus. Kas is different to Kalkan , Kalkan more Brits abroad where as Kas is more quaint. I’ve done a bit of a crap video on Kas - on here. My first and last video on an antiquated iPhone !!! If you go let me know how you get on - it is worth the journey . We are going to Kas in June been going there for 30 years 🤦♀️🤪 plus loads of other countries !!

Although I own property in Mallorca, you (and I must admit a friend whose sister owns property in Calis Beach) have convinced me to book a holiday in Calis Beach for a couple of weeks in May. To be honest after watching your video's my wife and I can't wait.

My family and I have been to Turkey a number of times and it's always been marmaris the last time we stayed at the Julien club hotel in armutulen and we found that the staff could not do enough for you then the grand bazaar the people in there were brilliant,we are going back in August this year and we cannot wait,my grandson who was 3 years old and who was made a fuss of by the staff can't wait to get back to his holiday home as he calls it I could go on all night about how great marmaris is but I won't.
We go to Icmeler twice a year, cant wait to get back in May. Thanks for the video.

@@mickandtrudie we are off to Marmaris, again. We have an 24 year old Autistic son who loves Marmaris he is a completely different person there and we have some really good Turkish friend who include him in there daily life in there bar so we are very happy going there. We also take our 11 year old granddaughter who also love just loves Marmaris also. Maybe one day me and my wife will get to explore a bit more of Turkey in the future.
Been going to Kas for nearly 30 years !!! Many changes but still lovely - if you know where to go !! Love your videos ❤️
