Renowned for its pretty old town, next to the harbour, with plenty of high end restaurants at reasonable prices, a small public beach with gorgeous clear turquoise waters and the many inexpensive boat trips, this is a perfect place to relax, unwind, eat, drink, browse in the many colourful boutique shops and enjoy exploring the surrounding bays!
Enjoy the trout farms nearby and the lovely unspoilt farming village of Bezirgan high on the plateau a few miles away.

We first came to Kalkan 25 years ago and spent many happy holidays here since then , lovely atmosphere which does not change . Turkey is a great country , so diverse , great food and such friendly people.

Went just before covid and going again. The agean coast of Turkey is amazing and the turks are beautiful people. Nice vid guys very informative.
I never get tired of looking at Trudie she is so pretty. What a beautiful little city I love when all the shops are open like that you can go from one to another and the food looked delicious.

Many happy memories of Kalkan. I bag packed there back in the early 90,s. and visited again several times. It still looks so beautiful and the people are truly amazing .

Thanks Mick, that brought back memories of just jumping on a dolmus many years ago to Kalyan, and just finding a small but very quaint pansyon on the very top of Kalyan. It was such a pretty place, and I remember all the lovely rooftop restaurants where you could look out over the sea while having your meal. All very romantic. It doesn’t look as if it has changed that much. Well worth a visit.

OMG i had no idea Kalkan was this beautiful , there are so much to see in Turkey, and so fantastic, all my American friends watching yours and Trade the Globe couple they booked their trip, some for 2 weeks some for 3 mouths ,unfortunately i suffered a heart failure, cant's travel for a while, I am just watching it all from far far away in San Diego California, I hope to get stronger and visit next year, Turkey rocks :) I wish videos were longer, could you make it longer?
Hello from Turkey! I have been in California (Carmel and Monterey and San Faransisco) I liked Carmel very much. California has good climate and nice towns too. What I didn't like about there almost no chance to swim in a bikini plus ocean is sooo wavy. Here in Turkey we are so lucky to have calm and warm waters. Welcome to Turkey, enjoy your holiday!!!

Go to aubergine right on the sea front. In winter it's closed in but has trees and othe decor inside in good weather its open all the sides come off. The food is great as well. Caroline the owner is so cool hope you see her again this year

I have no idea why England did that, single out Turkey? their cases are so low, and have you ever seen their hospitals called " Sehir Hastanesi" google it and tell me if you ever seen hospitals like that ? I live in America, in San Diego, I haven't seen hospitals like that here, and they build 47 of them and 22 more of them under construction, during the pandemic they had no problems what so ever of having enough hospital beds .
