...or just drop the drive shaft from rear-end and remove shaft, change clutch and be done. 2 ways to do everything and sometimes more than 2. 1st one I did I removed motor , after that, I do the shaft on all others

Except that no one could see a darn thing! Had no clue exactly what was being worked on. An overhead shot would've done wonders.. Just sayin'! ;)

    12:34 would be the rockshaft

You need a repair Manual for that tractor. Your talking about taking off a bunch of unnecessary parts.
Drop the deck, mule drive, and the tunnel cover. Those 3 items will allow you access to your entire driveline to remove the driveshaft

Nice looking tractor, but that red horn thing hanging off the side is absolutely hideous! If you hide it inside the frame or steering column tower somewhere, it would look so much cleaner. 😉

Nice 1200 I have a 1978 1200. When I rebuilt my clutch. I pulled the six bolts on rear end drop drive shaft way quicker. Did you put the spring in between the clutch plates ?

Your clutch looks different where it bolts on to the motor than on mine. Also mine have springs on the clutch plate.

We figured out that its an aftermarket 3 pin clutch driver so that’s probably our problem because its like 4 times thicker then stock

You need red or yellow pulling spring, the factory spring is shot. You can buy one from Midwest super cub.
