- I just bought this 1978 Cub Cadet 1200 from an estate auction. I do not know anything about the history of this tractor, but it looks like it has been sitting quite a few years. In this video, I am going to show you how to revive an old engine that has been sitting for years.

I just picked up a '76 IH 1200, can't wait to do what you taught me, thanks !!! They will never make 'em like this again, these are the good ones.
Nice buy, now time for restoration
The green in the carb is from the Ethanol in the pump gas thr previous owner used. Buy Ethanol Free gas for all your small engines. You won't need to buy any fuel stabilizer to add anymore. It won't be needed! I've been running Ethanol Free fuel in my tractors for the last 8 years and haven't rebuilt one carb since. It's worth every penny.
Interesting vid, but please keep the camera still, left me feeling a bit seasick
Just subscribe to you Did a good job on That carburetor Tractor sounds real good We'll be watching They Safe
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice work. Too bad they're all not that easy. At least for me lol.
Hoping it runs out really good and it’s a fixer upper 😊

That eye glass cleaner clothe is what's called terry clothe.
Emery cloth.
Emery cloth is what it’s called
Roll of different grit
Looks like seat is not very old so it must have ran in last 10 years
From the looks of battery terminal I think it may have a serious electrical problem

Rust , jumper cables to ground the engine to battery??
Get a screw holder for ing work
Well worth the money and cheap
Yeah I'll let you know where you find your parts they do not sell parts for my 1250
Good thing you have two hands. 😂
Sorry good subject but unfortunately the constant movement of the camera makes me feel sick sorry
I know that feeling👍
Terry cloth.
Please get a tripod. Bouncing camera does not make a good video.
Emery cloth
Interesting video but, bad filmography. You know what the viewer wants to see and you make a good effort to effort to show them but, all the moving around and trying to do things one-handed, makes for a poor viewing experience. A combination of holding the camera in hand for the detailed views and tripod mounted camera shots for everything else should work better. You're pretty good at this. Get yourself a decent tripod.
