Scooter manufacturers need to learn that not being able to fit a helmet under the seat is a major turn off. How come the Piaggio Medley can fit TWO full face helmets while these to cannot fit one ordinary lid. Terrible design error. Thanks for pointing this out as most reviewers do not bother yet it is a very important feature for many potential buyers.

I have a scooter as a local runaround in Thailand and I wouldn't be without it, despite its dreadful suspension. Evidently thicker fork oil helps and a rear shocks upgrade is worth it. It's a Yamaha Aerox 155. A blast from the lights. The difference between a 125 and 155 is dramatic.
    Good video.

Peugeot tweet is way below par when compared to the Honda pcx for £3200, the Sinnis is ok for the price, but residuals are nearly non existent after 3 years.
Personally i would take the tweet as that extra 2bhp will help a lot on the hills

The pcx is 3500. Its gone up in price.

@@JDMz Irritatingly it's now £3599. The Tweet seems to hover around £2800.

The Scooters are primarily aimed at the European / Asian Market where a scooter rider will normally only use an open face helmet . Try the Vecan in the tweet facing backwards with the visor shut .

@@Tyke18 build quality is fine. Just keep on top of anti corrosion on any bike/scooter.

I have a Sinnis Hero which I love and which has excellent under seat storage, 27 litres to be precise. A point to consider - I'm guessing the Connect used the same gen4 gy6 motor as the hero. If so it does not like E10 fuel which makes a considerable difference to running costs.

Thanks Mark, great video as always. I owed a 125 Vespa primeria recently, and although £3700otr when I bought it in 2019, I could fit full face or open face helmet under the seat. That's a deal breaker for me. I'd take the sinnis!

.......in the supermarket i spend as little time as possible selecting bog-rolls and price isn't a problem either BUT, thank you Sir for your kind efforts and thoroughly entertaining me! The great name of Pewgot is ridiculed by the example you showed us, had they branded it DUNG would have been more meaningful! Hope you still sell cartloads of DUNG's anyway!!!

The thing for me seeing as my Chevy truck does 12mpg is the peugeot will save you more in fuel cost.

I watched this just out of interest as I have never considered this type of scooter. I can say that neither interest me now. Very good video with all you would need to know.
Not being able to get a Helmet in the storage is a joke. I know the Sunnis did take a open face but that's not great either.

Very useful review. Good to know about the lack of helmet space. Also a shame about lack of space to charge phone or place to fix phone as a navigation aid. I'm considering getting the 2022 MGB 125cc Trieste which is a retro scooter with Italian chic appeal but only £2100 new OTR. There are no TH-cam reviews for it yet. Would you be the first? Look forward to seeing if you fancy the challenge of pitting it against the Sym 125cc Fiddle which is a similar design but £2999 OTR. Which 125cc scooter would you recommend to sit comfortably at 60mph on a dual carriage way stretch? I'm 6ft and 110kg and I'm afraid that a 60mph top speed won't be enough for me to keep up with traffic. I like the retro look but not averse to going for a sportier twist and go. Thanks for your informative and decision-helping video.

@@motorsforthemasses I've been considering the Sym Jet X. Very nice it is too but it's also one of the priciest 125s - probably for good reason.

Is the Peugeot Tweet not actually based on the Sym Symphony? Great video anyways, loved the underseat storage review!

by the way, do you have the piaggio liberty 125?? in Spain, its the main contender of flat floor scooter in 125. used by the postment and many delivery companies. For me i prefer the peugeot.. the french know quite well the scooter world.
