Starter Replacement: 2013-2019 Ford F250 F350 4x4 6.2L Gas Engine P06E9

Today we have a 2019 Ford F250 with the 6.2 Gas engine that is having intermittent no start issues. The car will spin the starter motor, but the starter drive (aka the bendix) will not always engage. It also has an accompanying trouble code P06E9 to further confirm a faulty starter. This process is fairly straightforward and should be the same on 2013 Ford F250, 2014 Ford F250, 2015 Ford F250, 2016 Ford F250, 2017 Ford F250, 2018 Ford F250, 2019 Ford F250, 2013 Ford F350, 2014 Ford F350, 2015 Ford F350, 2016 Ford F350, 2017 Ford F350, 2018 Ford F350, and 2019 Ford F350 with the 6.2L gas engine. F-250, F-350, Superduty.

I got this code on my 2015 Mustang Roush stage3 after battery replacement and did a battery reset. This code popped up. Starts perfectly
