When this SUV came out my wife and I did our home work and we picked this up in 2016 and man this thing is great. The space and comfort is amazing. We absolutely love this and are happy we chose this. On a day to day driving this is rewarding to me.

Very thorough review. You gave more info than most reviews.

I shopped around and found that the cx-9 had the better options for the buck. I saved up for 5 years to but a new cross over. I bought mine for 39500 it the gt model gt
It has from roof racks to automatic remote starting. The wheel locks are good for where I live and its good in the snow. It does have USB power jacks in the front and fast charge in the 2nd row. Why not fast charging in the front I do not know .
Also can you turn off the awn and put it in fwd?

How about a review for the '18 Mazda 6?

As I recall the 2016 model came out in the spring of that year. Yet the 2018 model came out late last year. Why the heck is Mazda rushing out the model years?

    IS there a 2018 Mazda cx5 video???

The CX9 on this video is a 2016/2017 model year not a 2018!

I know this is a Mazda video and all ... but what's up with the lack of Honda reviews?
GP has never reviewed the Pilot.

    • @goldpony

I can probably do that... I've done the Civic, Civic Type R, Accord, CR-V & Fit but you're right no Pilot yet unfortunately. :-(

I seriously considered this model. Very nice looks, nice engine. Good workmanship. But, third row is smallish and leaves almost no room for luggage. Entertainment system is a disaster, hud display has design flaws-if you are over 1,90m you can’t see it fully. No remote start and no cooled seats, which is a big minus in hot climate. I finally decided on explorer which is not great in anything but actually quite in everything imo

I believe the GT and Signature both have Ventilated front row seats and an optional remote start app

I'm happy for the people who own one of these and love it, but...a hood prop? Really?! I'll keep doing research and this car will stay in the running, but that's a huge "strike one" for $45,000.

A 4 cylinder engine that gets 20 mpg??? For upwards of $45,000??? I don’t think so...

No V6, on this? The 3.5 they used to use, got about 24 mpg. I'd rather just get an explorer or a highlander.

Your not getting a full size BMW for 44k sorry to tell you.

Manny Handball Channel on second thought your right. That's a good price for a suv that large.

upload2014, yeah, maybe 10-15 years ago.
Plus, BMW STILL doesn't have a 3-row. Their 2-row costs way more than Mazda's 3-row that IMO looks more luxurious inside.

A BMW X5 would be the comparable model which starts at 57k are you high? It’s not similar. Get your funds up

billy fatbowe, what do you mean no backup camera, of course it does. As far as Android Auto/Apple Carplay, it is coming. But even the world's largest automaker doesn't implement the systems.
