Out of all the reviews I have seen, yours is the best in terms of the detail you have covered. No bells and whistles, just pure honesty and very genuine. It's a great car :)
I'm taking my wife tomorrow to look at one of these it just came on the lot well five-year-old twins and safety and fuel economy is unless after watching your review I'm definitely 0 sold on the vehicle can't wait to test drive
Mazda should really make there own luxury division I know they tried with the Amati back in the 90s but I know Mazda has full potential in making a luxury division to compete with the big 3 Japanese luxury cars and all the German, Korean and American luxury divisions
This car seems great value if it is around $40000 and trying to compete with Audi, Acura, Infiniti, Lexus etc. whose SUVs certainly cost more especially by the time you grab their options list. Black cars certainly look nice my black GTI gets dirty the day after I wash it. Nitrogen in the tires by Mazda is great idea. Nitrogen is much more stable than air and performs better in car tires I only use nitrogen in my cars now.
I went to the auto show this past February and checked out the Nissan Murano, Ford Explorer, VW atlas, Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. The only vehicle that was as close to being as nice or give you that premium luxury feel was possibly the VW atlas and Nissan Murano. But the Mazda CX-9 in my opinion has better features and can compete with other vehicles like Lexus, BMW and Audi. For less money. Doesn’t feel like you are driving a boat. I test drove the 2017 model (signature)last year and I was very impressed. I’m going to wait until this fall because the price for the signature will drop 2-3k since the 2019 models will start rolling out eventually. Then with my company discount I hope I can get the signature Mazda CX-9 down to $36-$37k. Love that vehicle.
That's a great idea. I might do that as well. Thanks for the info. I was wondering when it will be a good time to buy it since I will like to get my company discount as well. Do you know if there is a big difference between safety features (GT vs signature)? Thanks
I'm in the market for a new/used vehicle and have been researching this one a lot, but the one thing I couldn't find out was how roomy and accommodating it would be for my husband who is also 6'1". Thank you for sharing your height all the other stats and info... I think I might just be about ready for a test drive.
I bought a 2018 gt model have had it for 2 weeks the gas mileage has been 22 mpg . I think it is up there with the Lexus I drove 1 of the things I would like to have was a cd player I do not have a iPod or anything to plug into the usb even a audio input would be nice . Thanks for the great review
Yes I hope it goes up as it has a break in time . It has a 4 banger with a turbo. The driving was most highway . I hope it goes up if not I will take it in the dealer to have it checked
The Q5 is a great car. However, value wise the Mazda offers a lot more. I've driven both. The Q5 has a lot to like about it but the interior is oddly simplistic and boring. Room in the Mazda feels greater, the sports sedan looking interior of the Mazda tops the Q5. You're getting much more value and an overall nicer package with the Mazda.
Mazda are you still playing lets catch up the other successful auto giants? Do you have the guts to truly challenge those giants of the auto industry? If I am Mazda's CEO I would introduce the world especially in North America market the new mini or subcompact pickup truck with their proven reliable 2 liter and 2.5 liter engines. That should shock the other Japanese giants and north American players with a product for urban DIY instead of those monster size soccer ma & pa groceries getter pickups. Instead of trying to get the rubbish RX8 back to the market for a few RX diehard fans. What a waste of corporation $$$$$$$ and human resources. Introduce a brand new Sky Active V6 and V8 for your bigger cars ,suv and for your RX8. Also built a real full-time hardtop version Miata. Hey, not all parts of the world is hot and sunny . Also put a little more hp to the MX5 like 200- 300 hp. Then the sport car world would really screaming MAZDA instead of HONDA. Put your name in the legend instead of follow the BIG BOYS and ask " Can I play? ".
Mitul Jariwala, that has nothing to do with luxury. Not that Mazda even claims to be luxury. Lots of actual luxury cars don't have A.A. or A.C. Lexus doesn't because Toyota doesn't yet want to implement it and they are the world's largest automaker.
- JPL - Luxury or not, I love mine. Collision avoidance saved my wife from an accident one time, stopped itself. I don't mind having android auto though.
So you think a Mazda vehicle is trash? really? djmelo mood you really need to go have a look in person. By far the nicest built Mazda I've ever driven. It even offer a HUD system available on higher trim levels. Just my thoughts tho. Whats your favorite midsize suv sold in America currently?

The fact that this car is 40,000 dollars and no apple car play or andriod auto is a deal breaker. What the hell was Mazda thinking not offering that

Very beautiful 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe limited v6

Richard Nua Turbocharged
Richard Nua, 22 combined is very good for a heavy 3-row. It's best in class.
Would have loved to see the rear seating
Hey Josh, if you do a search on my channel I've done several reviews of the CX9's. I'm pretty sure I did a review just about the back seating as well.
Thanks from this video, it's look likes advertising :). I like this Mazda.
You can not help yourself you talk alot, but, good content 👍
I take CX9 over Audi Q7.
Well... Lexus IS part of Toyota, plus Toyota/Lexus & Mazda are together mutually.
this one or Audi Q5?

max factor Mazda CX-9. Has 3 rows of seats and the signature is about $10k-15k less then the q5 premium trim.
what the hell is with the epic music?
lol its a EPIC Vehicle ha ha!
CharlestonCarVideos I agree, we are picking one up tomorrow.
The intro is way too long bro lol

No android auto/carplay...not luxury
Mitul Jariwala It will be available to the current system soon.
Mitul Jariwala, that has nothing to do with luxury. Not that Mazda even claims to be luxury. Lots of actual luxury cars don't have A.A. or A.C. Lexus doesn't because Toyota doesn't yet want to implement it and they are the world's largest automaker.

Mazda announced (this week) that the 2018 models will get a free upgrade on the infotainment system, adding the two carplay systems.
Mitul Jariwala Thats software and can be added anytime.
Hilllbilly
