The speckled pages look awesome! I started reading the KJV for the first time about 18 months ago. It is probably my favorite translation now...if not, it’s number two. It takes a while to get used to, and to follow, but with practice, you start to get it more and more and have to consult King’s English dictionaries (and other translations to see how they translated it) less and less. If you commit to really trying it out for a while, I think you will probably like it a lot. It’s beautiful, and sometimes it’s passages hit you a little differently than modern translations.
It gives you proper salvation. I only use other translations to help with kjv. Example : kjv says are saved nkjv being saved. That changes salvation from works to resting hebrews 4. From impossible eye of needle salvation to possible the finished work of christ
@@garythomas3150 God holds everything together. With that said the finished work of Christ its done its finished pays for salvation his sacrifice. Scripture to interpret scripture also. The strongs greek concordances are great also. All the tools God gives us come in handy.
Don't mean to burst your bubble, but the paper in the 52/53 Longprimers is 36 GSM. The 62/63 Longprimer Sovereigns are 38 gsm. I just got this exact Bible. It's not a "C" unless it has the cyclopedic concordance which this Bible does not have. The cyclopedic concordance is a lot more extensive than the regular concordance (pictures, charts, articles, etc). It's a beautiful Bible nonetheless. Like I said, I have the exact same Bible - navy blue, speckled, 53 Longprimer. Definitely a real keeper.
Mine has a identical scar but on the front. I have speckled page edition for the ESV and the KJV they both have that same identical scar, one on the back a the other on the front.
If you go to kjv store. You can get image. They have a Schofield wide margin deluxe goatskin leather outside inside liner calf. Stiched perimeter full yap with raised hubs. Only in black. Im kinda chomping the bits on getting one before their gone. Made by same makers of Cambridge and jonglbloed. But only 32 gsm french paper. 300.00 onsale 225.00

I love raised hubs but I like the Allan's without....I love the raised hubs on my Schuyler's makes them feel like a Schuyler 🙂
