Self titled was the first I heard and so has a solid place in my heart, but Death Reveals from Dissimulate remains one of my favourite death metal tracks of all time, the vocal arrangement is second to none.
After recently getting back into The Berzerker and discovering their last three albums, having listened to them extensively, I think my ranking would be: 1. Self-titled 2. Dissimulate 3. Animosity 4. The Reawakening 5. World Of Lies I think self-titled gets first place because it carries a lot of nostalgia for me, but also has the best variety of songs with each one kind of having its own flavor. World Of Lies comes in last as the songs aren't very fast and feel watered-down compared to their other efforts, and given the fact they made it off the back of Dissimulate it feels like the drum parts were written with the specific intention of being played by a person, given their slower and more simplistic nature.
Reawakening has great songs, but the mixing and the tones/sounds are off. Maybe they were going for some more mainstream attention with it? After all, that's exactly what I think the music videos for it and the final song "All the things she said" seemed be going for. I don't blame musicians wanting to get more attention and money for they work. That's what they often deserve in the first place.
The Reawakening has some of their best songs on, I definitely don't see it as an attempt at the mainstream. For me, that prize goes to 'World Of Lies', with its watered-down composition and mix, that sounds like it was designed to be played by a person and the songs just don't pop out like the rest of their later discography.
another great video. every one of these make me dive back into these bands
Cheers! And glad to hear that’s the case. Some of the Berzerker stuff is just insane!

That cover was definitely an interesting choice! I had forgotten all about it until I started diving back into their stuff. Cheers for commenting!
