Very interesting and informative. Really cool that the lift still runs. Very odd with all the strip club lights still being there and working. Looks like they plan to reopen it. Bonus points for the pigeon.
The strip club won't be reopened as the building is in a too poor state to allow people inside. Also the building is overrun with rats. I have slept in this building a couple of times and have found rats walking past me while I sleep. They are not the slightest bit scared. One time when I was walking up the stairs a rat was walking very slowly down the stairs and looked at me like it was expecting me to move out of its way. It walked past me and didn't even speed up. They have no fear. Nearby there are some disgusting take away places where the rats eat their food. Nobody ever tries to stop the rats. The take away places are not bothered by them. The rats use the strip club as a safe place to sleep. must be over 500 of them in there.

Was a good urbex mate and good video, the lift is not left bypassed i have removed the bypass it originally had a fault with the door switch
Can you do a video of diffrent lift voices like Doors opening this lift is out of service.

I also believe there’s also lifts in China that actually have Raspberry PI boards as their logic.

the second building was infact a night club and gentlemans bar. the nightclub (medinas) was downstairs and the gentlemans club (foxies) was upstairs. the night/gentlemans club was closed down by bailifs in 2018. the building is owned by the coulcil and is up for rent/sale.
Might be owned by the council, but someone I know is trying to claim adverse possession on the place.

i wonder if the whole building was dodgy.....what company wants an office near a strip joint?!
I am not sure why the offices went abandoned, but the entire building feels very run down and is probably beyond repair to put it back into use. It is also overrun with rats, and out the back of the building is one of the most unhygienic disgusting places I have ever been. Some of the most vile kebab takeaways that smell so bad that the food can not possibly be safe to eat. And the amount of rats wondering around the building and nearby takeaway shops is scary.

Not seen any Austin comments yet lol. Anyways, the college I went to had lifts with Lester controls but were different of course. I also noticed at WHSmith in Brighton's Churchill Square shopping center earlier this year, the lift there got modded with Lester controls.
getting in and out like on a paternoster, fun!! it is more dangerous than a paternoster, because paternoster cabs are taller, but that makes it even more fun!

I have a question about a lift. What lifts had the logic on the ground floor, but the workings at the top of the lifts shaft? Any videos i've saw of yours the logic is at the top where the workings are.

@@ytpchannel9467 The Lester voice has over 100 messages. I can't remember if it has 127 or 255 entries, but some of the entries are blank. The voice board here is the ALS Lester voice (a different voice to the Lester voice).

In the UK there are far too many of these annoying clock towers. I personally find them very irritating.
When I visit Muslim countries, I personally find the sound of the 5 daily prayers to be a far more pleasant sound than the clock bells of the UK. Yet in the UK, Mosques are banned for playing prays out loud outside due to noise complaints, yet the 12 loud daily clock bell ringings are far louder and happen every hour from 8am to 8pm, and these are allowed. Makes no sense.
