The floor cancellation by pressing a button twice is typical from asian lifts. The buttons and the indicator make me think of a Fujitec lift but the chime is an asian Mitsubishi chime. But I know that quite some companies use them there so my guess is that they are Fujitec lifts.
Typical chinese workmanship, the part that the public sees looks great so they dont loose face but the hidden parts is where they save money and time! you see this in china all the time the especially an official comes they make things spotless kick out the homeless etc... and when they leave everything is left to rot as it were
1:18 those are Jinlix pc1000 fixtures, Jinlix is a generic part supplier, 2:35 buttons are probably also from jinlix, I can make sure from the footage but one can confirm by their unique tactile
My input: These are one-off Asian Generic lifts. Someone in the UK clearly got parts from Asia just to do this mod. In Singapore we have loads of such modernisations, which I don’t like because it gives a bad impression
Looking at the buttons, I confirmed that those first sets of lifts that you ride are Fujitech lift. Those are rare in the UK, I have only rode it once that have a same exact circle buttons. But the rest I think it’s a Asian Generic lift company.
These lifts must be Hyundai. In your last video, it had 2 Hyundai chimes. One of them was the landing chime when you got to the floor (old video) and the other one is at the very top when the lift arrives. Also, the indicator is Hyundai. Don’t know what the old buttons are. The new buttons look like Yungtay.
i wouuld have felt tempted to kick the board leading to theoffice on -1 near the end of the video down as the door closes and get back to the exit floor and run
The key switches were originally Otis UTA. This is the first ever UTA we had seen in the UK. The key switches are now Dewhurst. So none of it makes sense!
@@benolifts Honestly I have never heard of something like this... an Asian generic brand? Nothing like that to my knowledge in the USA. This thing behaves like a Mitsubishi so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Mitsubishi mod with generic parts. In the US, Mitsubishi will use generic components on some installations - usually hydros.
Also, it's probably not Mitsubishi, since it allows cancelling single car calls, unless it's one of those rare installs that allow that. Still, Fujitec is a good guess, but nobody knows for sure yet.

imaginox9 Both the original buttons from the mod and the newer buttons from this mod are both Jinlix
This really confirms my feeling that generic modernisations are not that great to begin with.
That first lift looks seriously distressed. Possibly the motor is leaking oil, how else could there be so much oil spilage on top of it.

Being able to cancel buttons might be great for anyone pressing all of the buttons
YESSSS, I love the old format!
I'm not really a lift person but that first lift I would've avoided going on top of.
I love these buildingswith crazy lift setups like this. Very cool!
those elevators are very strange. top of that lift is a wreck.
Creepy having the lift open onto 2 locked doors and no way of calling it back 😂
The First Lift Surfing Time Video in a long time!
No u
With all the dust and oil if there was a motor fault or electrical it would cause a fire its a fire risk
There are rigs in Saudi Arabia that have had less oil spills than on that first lift...
The building doesn't care about its lifts, just about being a building for poshos

Can you go back here one day and do a detailed look at these and maybe a full urbex of this place?

Another wierd thing is the newer buttons looked like a cheap version of the ecodisc buttons thats odd
I like going to Ikea! THEY HAVE MITSUBISHI'S ALL OVER THE PLACE
The tiny one actually looked in better condition on top than the main ones still has oil but not as bad
5:36 they did that so they could prevent people from going on top it
Inspectors to inspect the elevator:
i am a Asian, i do have these types of lifts in my flat.
it’s not that sort of generic type

Watch the rest of his vids this is what he does and exploring
IT'S LIFT TOUR TIME!!!!
I’m not really a lift person server
I suspect the lift inspection control for the one with the oil leakage is original though, correct me if in wrong
THE ORIGINAL LIFT LAND...
2000-2009
Wonder if there would be any indication in t the motor room as to who's and which company's logic those lifts are using
Omg I feel bad for the actual engineers that maintain these because they have to step on such a crappy cartop
Which country are these videos shot in?
Ghast Unity UK
What's the previous video filmed here called? I can't find it.
Jinlix? Hitachi?
What motors are the modded Otises using ?
i wouuld have felt tempted to kick the board leading to theoffice on -1 near the end of the video down as the door closes and get back to the exit floor and run
These might be Mitsubishi/Hitachi just using generic fixtures.
Omg, what building is that? It looks sooo interesting...
Luca Franzosini St Giles Hotel, London England

Show me the key switches! That’s a telltale sign of a Mitsubishi

IS THAT A LIFT SURFING TOUR BENO
13:35 this lift looks similar to the lift that got stuck 11 years ago. th-cam.com/video/ELIjIoI9c84/w-d-xo.html
What do you use to make the picture at 0:07?
The Elevator World He uses PowerPoint
Ah.

@@elevator_satellite Oh Okay
What makes you think that +TRG? This elevator has intelligent levelling, something the likes of a small generic company probably will not do.
Perhaps, but nobody knows the brand of these. My guess is Fujitec, if not Mitsubishi.
