The no name logic seems DIY to me.....are lift companies just buying a "make ur own lift" kit from China
The digilift wins. The other one looks like it’s logic board has been ripped straight out of an old DVD player! It’s so tiny. Maybe it uses some cheap Allwinner cpu. I wouldn’t be surprised. The chimes sound utterly horrible too. They sound harsh and they try to rip-off the Otis gen2 chime. The bad cable management looks so amateuristic too. Doesn’t look like the work of a professional lift engineer. It looks like it was done by an intern.
This is the fastest I've gotten something in my recommended. Why? No clue.

These logics make Lester Controls look superior, and plus both lifts have a ripped off Older Kone/Otis chime

Where I live, generics are usually on the same quality level as what Schindler does. Logics by Kollmorgen, NewLift or Schmersal, usually fully intelligent, well configured and mostly with pre-doors.
Then I see what is going on in the UK and this really makes me understand all the hate against generic lifts, haha.

2:56 It appears to have a micro SD card in it, which means it most likely isn't a dedicated lift controller, but instead some sort of off the shelf general-purpose computer board

We looked at the files on the SD card to see if it had audio for the lift voice. The sd card just contains settings so that if there are multiple lifts, the same settings can be loaded onto both lifts.
A quick google search says that Digilift is Italian.
In France we have so many Fuji Frenic Lift VF. Our French manufacturer, Sodimas use them.
I don't hate Frenic Lift VF but I know better VF, for exemple: Yaskawa VF, Otis OVF10/20/30...

As having worked on alot of Spanish and Italian controllers, and Chinese. I far prefer the Chinese lifts, their logic and tools required to work on it was far better and reliable

The second lift is a new RALOE lift, you've seen them before as a Swallow lift
in the church that i used to go to (before covid) they had a garaventa lift
I like the name Digilift though, and I'd say that lift was the better of the two.

Our school lift is worse than this one. It takes 20 seconds to level and it changes it's leveling style at diff. floors and also the lift malfunctions 1 time a day. It's horrible. The buttons are cr6p and the logic🤢🤮🤮🤮 all floors call panels are replaced. Inner controls are replaced. THERE IS A SHOPPING MALL NEAR OUR SCHOOL BUT THERE ARE ECODISCS! WHY OUR SCHOOL SCHOOL MANAGER PUT TUNC-SEL (Turkey's generic) !!! Bloody hell🙄

I love the video and here is my reaction looking at the lift. Err... I don't know why their lift logic design looks like that, the logic and instructions are complicated, why are the circuit board red, And also the name... Digilift. Digi and lift. Digilift, what is digilift? It's digital, a lift, and it's a complete garbage. All 3 in 1. This is a very weird, ugly, but interesting mod. I-I-I just lost for word, I don't know what to say about the lift and the logic

In this video I am taking the piss out of a terrible lift modernization. The 2 lifts used to run as a set (one call button controls both lifts) and had ILE logic controller, which is a very simplistic, but reliable lift controller that is easy to maintain, and is one of the most well known, so easy for engineers to maintain. These lifts got converted into an utter bodge job that is so bad that it is laughable. The logic controllers got replaced. The 2 lifts now have different logic controllers, so can't work as a set anymore. Both logic controllers are terrible and very hard to use and understand. Cheap Italian Chinese rubbish. Most engineers also wont have seen these before, making the lifts much harder to maintain. Also a lot of the lift set up makes the modernization look like a rushed half hearted job by the engineers.
The new logic controllers are the worst sort of electronic design that some inexperience designer would come up with. Like someone that knows how to program electronics but has no idea or experience on how lifts actually operate. To someone that has just done a university degree it may think that it is perfectly fine to use some off the shelf electronic components to build something that operates a lift. But in reality, the 130 years of history of lifts has led to well made designs using specific components to operate a lift. And while some Chinese microcontroller could be made to operate a lift, it will be complete crap. The lift wont land at a floor in a nice way. And the system would not be intuitive for fault finding, and engineers that have to work on the system wont understand how to use it.
In this video we could not stop laughing at how bad these lifts were.

The "No-name" lift has to be the worst! Everything about it is just so shit! The Digilift seems pretty shit too. Keeping the original chassis is really nice; makes it look more original. Do you have any clue as to what these were originally?
