Another bit of duality, Weather dies peacefully from his wounds, making peace with himself, and Pucci dies in agony, screaming and begging, knowing everything he did was for naught.
It's interesting since I just noticed that Weather Report and Pucci share similar backgrounds to Johnathan and Dio but backwards. Pucci lives in a wealthy mansion, but is the villain, and Weather Report has no home or family but is the hero. So Pucci is like Johnathan in that sense, so Dio's only friend is like Johnathan!

@@kingkay14 yeah. Giorno was more about a technical and broken ability. Weather Report was more about raw destruction as well as versatility. He was basically a dragon ball character walking around in the jojo verse but still had the weird and broken abilities
I can't call Pucci evil, but maybe corrupted. He certainly is the enemy, but I see whitesnakes ability as a manifestation of guilt, love, or even compassion for his suffering brother with its ability to take away destructive powers and painful memories (at least that's how it started). His mistakes, with Dio's influence, cause him to develop a philosophy that makes sense - - the idea that people should know their own fate. It would have saved him and his family a lot of trouble. Pucci is my favorite villain. His story is basically a Shakespeare tragedy
We also know, that fate in JoJo is real thing and concept. So, it makes even more sense for Pucci to develop such beliefs in JoJo universe. Part 5 was also heavy on whole destiny and fate thing, Sleeping slaves and etc.
@@kakhagvelesiani3877 I like how pretty much l all the parts have some fate vs determinism theme woven in there. Normally the protagonists fight against fate while the antagonists believe in or seek to control fate.
I'd call him "evil." Just because he had a philosophy he believed in, however misguided, doesn't make him any less awful. When we review people who have committed attrocities throughout history, we don't tend to regard them as "misguided." I agree with you that Pucci's feelings of shame and love led to Whitesnake's abilities. But his pursuit of changing fate had less to do with his own ideals, and more with his own fear and hypocrisy. The ultimate fate of his family was his own fault due to the conscious choices he made. He was the only person consciously aware of everything that happened, and he ignored his opportunities to make things right. This is why I call him evil.
@@kakhagvelesiani3877 I like what you and Scarlote point out. JoJo's is heavy on the battle between fate and determinism. The protagonists tend to ignore "fate" and just do what they feel they have to do. Pucci specifically, while claiming to want to change fate, refuses to acknowledge that everything that has happened to him and his siblings (after his finding out about Wes), was his fault. Due to his actions alone, and not some omnipotent external factor. Refusal to accept responsibility of the consequences of one's personal flaws is one constant villain trait in JJBA

And bad things happen to people who only care about the results. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy another great part of jojo.
anyone that hates part 6 just because they can't fucking read the manga... probably some new people that finished watching part 5 then can't wait so they read part 6 even tho they can't read the manga correctly or can't absorb the information well
I really dont get why people call part 6 the worst JoJo's part. It's ending is also one of the best endings in fiction, to the point where i think its better than things like DBGT's ending.
The biggest downside of the part are Pucci´s Whitesnake asspulls, but aside from that it´s not that bad and no Part 8 is the worst jojo part, with part 5 coming at 2nd place because of that awful ending, part 6 at the very least provided us a smart villain that had the most Chaotic Evil allignment of all time, like really what he planned to do with the world was the ultimate evil.
Idk why everyone hated the ending, Emporio for me was seen like all the little kids that end up tagging along with the group like Hayato and Smokey but Emporio used Puccis power against him and used weather report as his greatest fear to kill him
I loved the ending. I wanted Dio and Pucci to win so someone other than the Josters bloodline winning for a change was the next best thing. 6 series in and part one being the only time the villain won. What just i see? But I’m waiting for SBR which might not get animated because it’s by Ultra jump, if it does get green lighted right after part 6 it will be 2024-2025 and as for part 8.... idk because I personally think that part 8 (Jojolion) will last another 3-5 years. And I also think Jojolion is also the last Jojo, unless Araki passed the torch to his daughter or a successor.
That's a pretty neat duality found here. I never noticed it. Just as good as the duality of Giorno's and Diavolo's final stands, one can remove the cause while the other removes the effect.
My favorite part of Duality is how Pucci is in a way the representation of the devil. He holds Dio to the same regard as God, and that breaks one of God’s Ten Commandments And finally Pucci’s main ultimate goal directly contrasts God’s plan and perfectly aligns with Satan’s. Pucci wants a world where there is no choice, only fate guides us, whereas God created the world so that we might have decisions and choice, and that we may repent of bad choices through Christ and everything. I believe Araki used to be Christian when he was younger, so seeing these Christian concepts implemented in a story and dived upon is awe-inspiring to me. (Also I’m talking about general Christian churches, I know there are different sections of the faith that believe different aspects of it, I’m not trying to convince that what you believe is incorrect of it doesn’t follow the general Christian faith.)
But the devil powers in anime make us think that devil is just like human.. Soon we might even think that devil is capable of good.. When in reality the devil just want to doom us humans to hell with him
@@hololivesimp6242 Oh yeah because I know part 5 is an analogy since Giorno is the son of Dio (God) fighting Diavolo (devil). In fact both parts 5 and 6 are analogies for revelations to some extent.
everytime I think of Araki's design choices when it comes to stands and their Users im constantly blown away. and when I think I've seen everything, BAM I get sucker-punched! I haven't even read Stone Ocean, but Weather is already my favorite character.
Another bit that really adds to the duality is that the appearance of Made in Heaven, not only alludes to one of the Horsemen of the apocalypse, but it's form is that of a creature called a Nuckelavee, which was considered a demon in the mythology it comes from
Yeah, in fact actually, despite how godly, and powerful all 3 of Pucci's Stands are, they are also very demonic. Whitesnake is a BDSM Prisoner who manipulates, C-Moon is the most demonic looking of all 3 with a constant sadistic grin. Then there is Made in Heaven, which although looking the most divine of all 3, is in truth the most apocalyptic, as it is literally the White Horseman, whilst also looking like a nuckelavee
i never understood why people hate on part 6 i really feel like it was the best part until part 7 came out, i think every jojo part is somewhat better than the one before, u can see araki's skills become better and better each part.
The song also says that Pucci's goal is entirely based from the lyric, "willing to play my part" "turn me upside down" "stormy weather (weather report)" "playing my role in history, searching to find my goal" "taking all this misery's" bruh Araki is a genius bruh.
It's sad that pucci, a Christian who is suppose to be taught to do good in the world and serve God. Ends up doing the complete opposite. He spreads evil and worships Dio Brando whom is literally evil incarnate.
This is legit one of my fav youtube videos. The way you put stairway to heaven in the background with the beautiful illustrations and such an interesting story! This is why Domenico is one of my fav Jojo characters. Hes an innocent and pure person at his soul when his memory was wiped of the tragedy that befell him!
So let me get this straight.. -So this whole time pucci’s stand represents the devil -weather’s stand represents an angel/god… -which means they are evil and good and good and evil because of both their pasts… Now it makes sense!

I have mixed feelings about Enricco Pucci. I think he's an excellent villain in ways that Dio wasn't, and I love him for those qualities, but at the same time I hate him because he kind of HAX'd his way to achieving his goals *SPOILER* and wiped out the main cast.
it's kinda poetic how each stand of dio's children foreshadows an aspect/the phases of MiH bohemian rhapsody - effective on global scale sky high - makes the user manipulate being/s with fast speeds underworld - makes a pre-destined fate relive itself idk that's just me talkin
I'm absolutely fascinated by they're backstorys, it's so viscerally biblical. honestly the only thing I can think of with a comparable tone and vibe is toni morrison's Song of Solomon.
Ironically, Pucci's desire while gaining his stand was to get a hold of the memory of her sister, thus "saving" her in some kind of twisted but sincere way. Meanwhile, Weather gained his stand in a moment of anger probably with the wish of getting revenge.
Just finished Stone Ocean yesterday and it hands down tells the most beautiful story out of 1-8. The fifth part being my personal favorite but six truly was something else. I legit balled by the end of Stone Ocean not saying part fives stuff isn’t heartbreaking but dang part six was wonderful.

What just i see? That’s only 2-3 years away, we waited for part 5 for 2 years. Plus I’ll only be 20 when it comes out, Idk about you tho.
Giorno is son of two dads, dio charism and jhonatan heart, diavolo is basic a 2 mans in 1 body, this is a duality
My favorite part of Duality is how Pucci is in a way the representation of the devil. He holds Dio to the same regard as God, and that breaks one of God’s Ten Commandments
And finally Pucci’s main ultimate goal directly contrasts God’s plan and perfectly aligns with Satan’s.
"Because the devil comes only to deceive, steal and kill."
Is this a Bible quote or something?
@@sameerhasan8101 it probably is
@Albert Okorogu yeah I've heard it too from religious poisoned goons
But the devil powers in anime make us think that devil is just like human.. Soon we might even think that devil is capable of good.. When in reality the devil just want to doom us humans to hell with him
Dorito Meatbag's art is nothing short of breathtaking
for real brother
Finally, Xforts has spoken about the Twin, who are my favorite duo in JoJo. I thought that no one catched the duality between the two. GJ mate.

A bit closer to heaven.

Kinda Ironic how a priest ends up having a gimp-looking stand.

Oh yeah because I know part 5 is an analogy since Giorno is the son of Dio (God) fighting Diavolo (devil).

R.I.P Weather Report, He's a badass.
Thank you for using Stairway to Heaven.
This song can easily ascend to *HEAVEN*
Man, Araki is a fcking genius
I think xForts is overanalyzing the duality of Weather / Pucci here, but there is definitely something there
Thiago Ribeiro Meanwhile, Araki: Weather’s stand makes people think they’re snails...and they become snails
also has a short memory
Unknown dude Fuck off with that shitty meme
“Who looks the most like a stripper”
I’m betting all my money on Kars
nah nah, have you seen DIO and Diavolo?
Do I hear stairway to heaven?

xForts also could’ve played “Made in Heaven” as well
No

i never understood why people hate on part 6 i really feel like it was the best part until part 7 came out, i think every jojo part is somewhat better than the one before, u can see araki's skills become better and better each part.

Yea speedwagon ligit said that the 3 dots on his ear means he was born with the devils own luck
-So this whole time pucci’s stand represents the devil
-weather’s stand represents an angel/god…
-which means they are evil and good and good and evil because of both their pasts…
Now it makes sense!
And Joshu's stand looks better than him
Weather is my favorite character in Part 6 and now I love him even more

when i was reading stone ocean i honestly loved the story behind weather and pucci, probably the strongest thing about part 6 for me
Pucci was already the best written JoJo villain for me but I kinda appreciate Weather more after this video

I have mixed feelings about Enricco Pucci. I think he's an excellent villain in ways that Dio wasn't, and I love him for those qualities, but at the same time I hate him because he kind of HAX'd his way to achieving his goals
*SPOILER*

I can't wait for Stone Ocean to finally get an anime so it can finally get the appreciation it deserves.
These two are my favorite part of Part 6! Cant wait till they get animated!
I'm only on Stardust Crusade but couldn't help but glimpse into the future. Love Jojo
Weather and gravity, all aspects of the world
I'm absolutely fascinated by they're backstorys, it's so viscerally biblical. honestly the only thing I can think of with a comparable tone and vibe is toni morrison's Song of Solomon.

With the anime finally animated I can say the backstory behind Pucci and Weather have to be one of my favorite of the series
At first I read the Jojo part 6 felt different because mostly the MC will be the finishing blow but after watch this vid and look back for whole series I totally understand. Thanks for this vid👍
Nice aesthetic
An angel disguised as a devil and a devil disguised as a heavenly priest, that’s so poetic
Dio took down jonathan by not letting him breath. Emporio took down puchii by not letting him breath. Is this coincidence or is Araki truly a genius
