For each generation, you copy this setup into the remaining cubes, which are now 1/3 the dimensions of the previous generation and number 20 times as many as the previous generation. A theory on D4C’s dimension travel; Funny Valentine can only travel to Parallel Universes that are only from the base world. As we’ve seen, he’s only traveled from different worlds that are the same as the base world to drag different alternate characters like Soundman and The World Diego who are from the same timeline, but different universe. So theoretically, if Funny Valentine was displaced in time and set in a much different base world, he’d only be able to travel between that world’s parallel universes
Because of quite a few aspects that come together to slap you with confusion. But unlike D4C, you have to get the explanation through context clues for KC, as even Diavolo’s explanation is kinda shit. But without getting too into it, the time erase actually erases only Diavolo’s fate, but not his actions, and everyone else sleepwalks through their fate.
I feel like I love Tooru and Satoru Akefu a lot for breaking the space and time formula by making a stand based around unfortunate things happening to people instead of something related to space or time

So, I feel like the whole D4C arc was Araki's first idea of D4C's set of abilities, but were later changed either for story reasons. If we take Valentine's explanation of his ability at face value, and that he can combine two dimensions at the same time, so that certain versions of people between the two dimensions could exist at the same time at the same world, in addition to dimensional travel, then that would be OP! Also, side note: at first I thought that panel wherein Valentine's face disappeared when he was attacked with Ball Breaker was just Left Side Ataxia, because his left eye disappeared too, although it being an ability of the stand made snese if you look what parts of Valentine's face disappeared on later panels. (Now they actually made sense to me, thanks for that! 😂) What I noticed about thinking all these things is that they all appeared during the same battle: both combining two dimensions and avoiding attacks by dimensional teleporting parts of his body... I feel like if these issues happened all during the same arc, then that means that his idea at the time changed on consequent fights, and D4C became much more concise as an ability... If that is so, then that is really interesting... I wonder what made Araki to change the idea of the stand... Anyway, that's all my thoughts about D4C... That's an extremely broken ability People (including me) have come up with explanations but those involve some level of headcanon and so aren't valid

I love style. I love the stylishness in games like Persona 5 etc. For D4C and Funny Valentine, i love how it's effect is activated. I mean, putting yourself between a flag or door and going into another world is soo stylish and awesome. Furthermore, i love the Design and of course the refference. D4C is one of my favorite Ac/Dc songs and Rock songs in general. Funny Valentine was one hell of an antagonist. I would call him, my favorite and best antagonist of all time. I love him and Steel Ball Run in general. Araki created a masterpiece
I actually like to think that he is the exception to the rule, all other villains have time abilities while he has a space ability, granted; space and time are interweaved so obviously if you control one you control the other but the other villains have more time centric abilities where as valentine's ability is space centric like Johnny's, which makes valentine and johnny the cool space-based counterparts to DIO and Jotaro in a sense

I like the idea that D4C is almost puppeting Valentine, since the stand is the unique entity versus the infinite variants of Valentine. And the fact that all the variants have a shared will and share one stand makes it feel like D4C is the true master and has infinite flesh puppets at its disposal
Well D4C was never that confusing to me I came to this video to see how others explain it Please don’t say I’m faking this it just was never that confusing to me
Some people twig onto ideas and Stand concepts quicker than others. Nothing wrong with that. I got the majority of D4C's abilities when I first read it too, but when it came down to writing a script, I did find it a bit difficult to put into words.
This will be a long comment, so bear with me... On the D4C arc (The first fight of D4C; spoilers by the way): As you've said, you'll make a video to expand your thoughts about this arc, but there's some things I'm expecting you to address. After the Chocolate Disco arc, when Gyro went to the park to ask for the suspect, three groups of people were asked. If Diego and Wekapipo are were brought to a parallel world to be made belief that they shot Johnny, then brought back to the root world, then wouldn't Valentine need to transport people back to the root world as well in order to confuse other people that may investigate the scene, i.e. Gyro??? If so, how come the group of boys and the group of young girls with a baby don't seem to act as if they were transported there. (I feel like this could be explained by either these people were from a world wherein they are conscious agents of Valentine, just like the small villians, or they were transported unknowingly, like someone made a magic trick, but in reality, they were teleported by Valentine behind the scenes.) However, the thing that I think will be more important for you to address is this: if Diego and Wekapipo are in a parallel world when they shot that world's Johnny, then how come the base world Johnny knows that both Diego and Wekapipo were made to believe that they shot him, as what he stated to Gyro, explaining Valentine's ability. Wouldn't that make the President need to also teleport Johnny to the same world the two were in to see them? This is an already long comment, so I will just have my other thoughts on another comment, but yeah hope you answer these questions regarding your explanation of this arc. Nice vid btw! More power to you...
It's possible that D4C's initial idea by Araki was that it had an area-of-affect, so the dimensional hop affected those around a certain area and that idea could have changed. Remember SBR released monthly so Araki had 1 month between each chapter to evolve his ideas. It's either that, or some funky dimensional crap went on where those who could see Stands were able to feel that something was wrong and that multiple dimensions were aligned at this point. That would explain why the kids and the painter couldn't tell. Im not 100% sure. At the end of the day, it all comes down to pure speculation. We can only theorize unless Araki gives an official statement on it.
My thought was that this was originally meant to be a Stand that could staple pieces of multiple timelines together before Araki went whole hog into the space/dimensional transplantation aspect. All of that comes from the whole reveal arc. Then again, that arc is kind of a fustercluck to take in, so I don't blame people for throwing their hands up and just going "Forgetaboutit!"
D4C is one of my favorite villain stands and here is the least in order #1- The World #2- D4C #3- Killer Queen #4- King Crimson #5- White Snake/C-Moon/Made In Heaven

You definitely need a lot more subscribers. You have a really good production quality and make great analysis on these Stands to help cover what they could do and some interesting scenarios on the final thoughts (always wondered if Made in Heaven had enough Gravity Manipulation to break through Love Train. Personally I don't think so but you never know.)
Question: when you switch out yourself with another you, do you still retain d4c, like your consciousness switching bodies from a damaged one to a new one? Cause it would really suck if you switched out with another you and you permanently lost d4c and were just left to die

Yes, the universe was the same but the timeline changed or got reset.
They are a separate story and a separate universe which means a multiverse. Pucci's reset did not create Part 7.

I like the idea that D4C is almost puppeting Valentine, since the stand is the unique entity versus the infinite variants of Valentine. And the fact that all the variants have a shared will and share one stand makes it feel like D4C is the true master and has infinite flesh puppets at its disposal

Some people twig onto ideas and Stand concepts quicker than others. Nothing wrong with that. I got the majority of D4C's abilities when I first read it too, but when it came down to writing a script, I did find it a bit difficult to put into words.

This will be a long comment, so bear with me...
On the D4C arc (The first fight of D4C; spoilers by the way):
As you've said, you'll make a video to expand your thoughts about this arc, but there's some things I'm expecting you to address.
After the Chocolate Disco arc, when Gyro went to the park to ask for the suspect, three groups of people were asked. If Diego and Wekapipo are were brought to a parallel world to be made belief that they shot Johnny, then brought back to the root world, then wouldn't Valentine need to transport people back to the root world as well in order to confuse other people that may investigate the scene, i.e. Gyro??? If so, how come the group of boys and the group of young girls with a baby don't seem to act as if they were transported there. (I feel like this could be explained by either these people were from a world wherein they are conscious agents of Valentine, just like the small villians, or they were transported unknowingly, like someone made a magic trick, but in reality, they were teleported by Valentine behind the scenes.)
However, the thing that I think will be more important for you to address is this: if Diego and Wekapipo are in a parallel world when they shot that world's Johnny, then how come the base world Johnny knows that both Diego and Wekapipo were made to believe that they shot him, as what he stated to Gyro, explaining Valentine's ability. Wouldn't that make the President need to also teleport Johnny to the same world the two were in to see them?
This is an already long comment, so I will just have my other thoughts on another comment, but yeah hope you answer these questions regarding your explanation of this arc. Nice vid btw! More power to you...
It's possible that D4C's initial idea by Araki was that it had an area-of-affect, so the dimensional hop affected those around a certain area and that idea could have changed. Remember SBR released monthly so Araki had 1 month between each chapter to evolve his ideas.
It's either that, or some funky dimensional crap went on where those who could see Stands were able to feel that something was wrong and that multiple dimensions were aligned at this point. That would explain why the kids and the painter couldn't tell.
Im not 100% sure. At the end of the day, it all comes down to pure speculation. We can only theorize unless Araki gives an official statement on it.
My thought was that this was originally meant to be a Stand that could staple pieces of multiple timelines together before Araki went whole hog into the space/dimensional transplantation aspect.
All of that comes from the whole reveal arc. Then again, that arc is kind of a fustercluck to take in, so I don't blame people for throwing their hands up and just going "Forgetaboutit!"

You have a really good production quality and make great analysis on these Stands to help cover what they could do and some interesting scenarios on the final thoughts (always wondered if Made in Heaven had enough Gravity Manipulation to break through Love Train. Personally I don't think so but you never know.)

Question: when you switch out yourself with another you, do you still retain d4c, like your consciousness switching bodies from a damaged one to a new one? Cause it would really suck if you switched out with another you and you permanently lost d4c and were just left to die
Each version likely have a version of d4c, or he just transfers his stand with his memories to the new body
