I can honestly say It felt like I myself was riding on the back of that girls moped in July. You’re a great story teller.

I would absolutely love to see more Super Sport content, as you're one of the very few that have made in depth content on a Super Sport. Take care!

Jonathan, watching your video all the way to the end, I found your insight into the Garelli itself but also into moped riding generally a crisp and wholesome take. The Garelli Super Sport XL was my first moped. I got it in the summer after my freshman year of college. To this day, I regret selling it with only a 6-month tenure with it. Everstill, the summer nights I spent working on that thing have carved similar boyish memories into my mind, much like your middle school recollections. Although an innocent machine the moped, the experiences of a new rider are novel and abundant. You encapsulated that feeling well. This was a quality presentation. I look forward to watching more of your videos.

"Puchs, Peugeots and Mobecanes... ...silver 12 speed". Fond memories indeed, shared from a different continent.

Awesome 👍 had a 78 puch maxi. So fun, but had to upgrade for a Honda 90. It was too light in the wind and single speed couldn't handle our hills. But loved the two stroke smell and sound. Will get another one someday

I just bought one of these from Staten Island. Working to get it street legal. I’ve done a lot of maintenance already. It’s been equal parts joy and pain.

I enjoyed riding a Puch. It did have a shift, similar to a Vespa. 3 speed as I recall.

Hello, I’d like to throw it out there if anybody knows, I have one of these, upgraded, goes like 60mph and beyond but I’m way too scared to get up there. I just know it will because I barely crack the throttle and I’m going 35mph. The shake is scary. Previous owner said he upgraded the engine with some kit. Anyway, my lights don’t work. Can’t ride her at night. They use to work but I changed the handlebars, and ever since the lights don’t work. Any idea what could’ve happened? Did I maybe pull them out of the magneto? I think it wouldn’t run if that’s the case. Im lost. I appreciate any kind of advice. Also if anybody knows a way I can get it to not scare the crap out of me going 30mph I appreciate that. Maybe suspension upgrade recommendations. Something to make it a smoother ride at higher speeds. Thank you.
