my compression is so low no amount of pedaling will start it. had to remove the stator cover and use 17mm socket on drill attachment and spin the hell out of it to fire off.
So the choke is all or nothing? If so I could see that causing problems for inexperienced riders. I've got a low mileage 79 life that but it's stuck and I've not gotten around to it yet. Also looking for a clean single i, yellow would be great but i know they are very rare.
So let me just say that these mopeds in general aren’t easy for new beginners. Especially the kind of people running around now a days. Most of the time I make these videos for the people I sell the bike to.
hey i got an old one of these bikes 1981 its in total disrepair and i would like to rebuild it. where can i find the parts? also decomp isnt doing anything (cable still attached and spring still looks good) the engine still rotates (gets really hard to spin in 1 spot but i can force it by hand) hoping the engine is still okay.
@@wutang_bing8090 are you liking it? I fell in love with this one here. Sadly it was done for someone else. I didn’t keep it. However he does bring it by for maintenance every once in a while.
@@RestoCycles I am picking it up Friday I gotta do so work on it, I wanted a project wanted to learn something new and I’ve always wanted a moped But I gotta do New variator, decomp switch, clean and inspect the carb etc etc
this has been adjusted for your viewing pleasure. i did fix this once a while ago but it apparently didn't save or ended up reverting to its original ways. sorry for the inconvenience my friend.
Had an '83 back in the day and picked up another one last year. Hoping to tune it up and get it running this weekend.
Nice!

I’m trying to sell
One , 1:38 is there a demand? Needs work.
Where is the bike located? I’m always buying. The demand isn’t as high as you would think unfortunately.

@@wutang_bing8090 oh yeah, the old moped stuff. If you’re doing a new variator you should modify it a little. Mess with the weights and what not.
Your petcock is facing the wrong angle. The handle should be angled to the front of the Camino. Atleast on European models it's like that
I had no idea it took so many steps to start an electric bike!
It’s not an electric bike

that stupid logo at the end hiding what I wanted to see, great
