Wind did a 360 on me this year. My Bruce did the same thing. He got caught. The was no time to react, I feel for him. A 2nd ⚓️ is a Must for a Vessel anchored permanently or one without propulsion.
I feel for him but interesting story for sure. Good bit of investigative journalism too - I bet people been seeing it there all this time and wondering wtf is with that boat.
Let this be a lesson people, always carry more than one anchor and always have oversized anchors, at least make your spare larger than needed or recommended
He seemed confident he would on the next full moon tide. He had the law coming after him as well so I bet he figured it out. I live 1.5 away or I would have followed up.
@@HarborYachtToursI’m positive that they have taken care of it by now if they don’t have a law that allowed them to they will just make one up so they can 😮
I remember that this guy was trying to sell this boat 😅and he was asking 10,000 bucks for it I can’t imagine what it would cost for them too remove this one 😮this is what made me think that having a sailboat was a bad idea this rock ground has damage the structure of the boat and the Clearwater police don’t give a shit about how it happened this boat is gone I had a 26 footer v bottom and I was using the tides to my advantage 😅but they didn’t care about my boat so they literally took it from me one Friday even I was 😢homeless and they had no right to remove my boat from the waterways I learned a valuable lesson from them on that day never leave your boat out anchored without carmra on the front and the Stern 😮they claimed they found it down the bank which was not possible I didn’t just trust the anchor I would actually push them down using my body Waight so they was one little storm that morning but nothing that was strong enough 😮so I’m not worried about my cat or my home but as I said I learned a valuable lesson the Clearwater police are so dirty they couldn’t even give me a good reason why it was just found bs and I didn’t just loss my home I lost my family member who lived onboard with me 😢i still miss you Oscar 😢just hope that he was able too find help in time from my own experience just being alone in a new area is like asking your cat to watch the bird without a cage. I would never trust anyone who carry’s a bage that reads Clearwater police water patrol on it

This 43' Viking was once one of the most desirable double cabins on the market.

Yep
If the boat was running he could have used the engines to pick up the anchor and reset it.

Right
That boat sat for a while in the water. Not running?
Not sure. Thanks for watching though.
