I make it a point to tell everyone if you do some work to these bikes it really wakes it up big time….now you guys have a couple special modifications left to do that’s again gonna make you smile on the road test 😁 looking forward to seeing what you all think of it once it’s really finished 😎

    I used the exact parts y’all had. I bought the carb, and my factory throttle cable wasn’t long enough. It idles erratically with that carb and the factory cable, am I doing something wrong? Did y’all use the factory throttle cable? Also will the factory chain work with that updated 17 tooth sprocket?

    • @RattleCanCustoms
      @RattleCanCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would try maybe routing the cable a different way? Or you may have to order a different cable…

    I heard your running a 118 main jet, what is your pilot, I have the same configuration in north east pa, I started with a 120 main and 38 pilot and it seems to brake up a little in mid rpm and throttle and on stationary reving, I’m gonna drop to a 118 and see how that goes, I’m just not that good with carb tuning

      @@basedbane787 well, if you’re going to do anything with the muffler, you’ll want to rejet the carb accordingly. If you run the motor and it’s not getting enough fuel, you risk damage.

    I have a TBR7 and my brake light doesn’t work. My taillight is on but I have no brake light. Any suggestions? Also I have a Chinese digital speedometer that is about 8mph off. No idea how to adjust it.

    • @RattleCanCustoms
      @RattleCanCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on what brand of speedo you have, you may be able to change the settings for diameter or circumference of your front tire to get it back on target.
      As for your brake light, I’d check your brake light switch. Disconnect the wires at the switch and hook up a voltmeter, if you pull the brake in and nothing happens on the meter, the switch is probably bad.
      Hope that helps!
