Great video!! I bought the templar 250 5 speed model back in November! Did the nibbi carb swap two weeks ago, and man it did make a huge difference. Love it!!!
First comment‼️ Love the videos man I would love to see more OBS content! Im a US Marine and I’m in school right now and I watch your videos to kill my free time😅 I miss my obs so much and seeing you build that tahoe makes my soul happy😂
I've had my Templar 3 years. 3500 miles. My only issue was carb related. Didn't idle below 2400rpm. Xpro sent me a new carb that was adjustable, but had the air screw out 4 turns to run good, purchased a 30mm and it was worse. Ordered a jet kit and started experimenting. The exhaust was blue, so I tried bigger jets, idle has always hung about 500 rpm high then settled...??? I did get a decent idle, but went from 48 mpg to 37. Ran a while that way then pulled the 30 and went 5 smaller on jets in the 28 and got my mileage back, and good idle at 1 1/2 turns. Probably could have used the stock carb with the idle plug removed... still have the idle hang 500 rpm for about 10 seconds...??? Working great! Adjustability is key, .2 sec with 30, not much gain.
I agree that the better carb and upgrades help the chonda bikes but one thing nobody mentions is that if you do increase the power it breaks every other weak part. In order Chain, Rear wheel Dampners, Swing arm bushings, spokes. After a year I sold it and got a YZ450FX.
A few HP increase isn't going to break anything faster, except maybe the stock chain, but that should be replaced immediately anyway. Also, this same bike exists as a 300cc liquid cooled model with 50% more HP. Why did you even bother buying Chinese bike if you can afford a Japanese one that costs five times as much?
Hey man, I’ve got a question, how’d you cut the cats off of Larry, I’m trying to do so with my 10th gen but I was wondering what to do with the rear 02 sensor, any advice would be nice, keep up the great work !!
also on the brakes my did the same thing when i wrapped the wires under the seat. when i did that one of the wires pulled from the connector . the lights would turn on but not bright up just like what you were saying .
Does it wheelie half decent? Recently got back into riding and im fixing to get a yz250 2stroke but i want to get one of these cheap 4 strokes for the days when i bring my daughter riding with me. Shes 4 and sits on the gas tank between my arms on my trx300. Im itching to get her on 2 wheels though but a 2 stroke is just gonna be way to aggressive as i do a lot if slow cruising and soft riding when shes with me. She has an absolute blast and i cant wait till shes big enough to start riding her own youth bikes.
I have a question for you about registering your bike. I live in Georgia, not sure where you live, but curious as to how much of a pain it was to register to make it street legal. I just picked up a Hawk X 250 myself and am about to go through the process. So any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! De
This is a Templar X? I thought the Templar X had a 6 speed transmission? I was counting shifts, and it sounded like you only hit 5th gear. Did you start in 2nd?
I did the Nibbi mod it ran perfect after install but after 5 min the idle started rising and wouldn't idle down. I had to almost completely screw in the air screw to get it to idle which caused it to run rich so ended up re-jetting both the pilot and main. I'm at about 300ft with 42* temps right now running 125 main/45 pilot from stock 128/40 and it ran perfect - (I thought) but after changing the spark plug it was still running a little rich(moderately sooty) so I experimented with different jet combos and needle positions but it runs best with the 125/45 to where the adjustment screws are in the proper range(per spec) and the needle in the stock 3rd notch setting. I've tried tweaking the air screw to lean it out but haven't ridden it yet to see if it'll go faster or if the mixture is right according to the plug color.. Previously it topped out at 67 on the speedometer didn't cross check with GPS but was facing pretty strong head wind.
Has anyone had any issues with their taillight? I can't get the running light and the break light to work together like they're supposed to. Only one or the other depending on how i switch the wires around.
Templar X 6-speed. 14T front 42T rear. Emissions delete, cat delete. Powercore pro tork exhaust. NGK D8EA. Nibbi 30mm, slow 40, main 130, needle clip one position down from center. I'm at an elevation of 1400 ft. I can't stand a lean running carb, Fat is where it's at baby!
We have the same exact bike, same color, same issues. Our rear tail light does not work when applying the handbrake or the footbrake we have checked both switches they function properly they sent us out the light switch, which I don’t understand why hopefully the tail light assembly is the problem. They’re sending it actually today it should arrive. Let me know if you have the fix also, Il let you know as soon as I get mine and get it on the bike. This might be my second comment cause I don’t know if the first one went.
@@joshuaguidry6428 No, we have checked all the cables and connections still have the same problem. They are now sending the light assembly. we installed the nibbi 30 mm works great. now putting on 42 tooth rear sprocket.
good times guys !!! any time we can go chase is a great day . hope you get to go play in the water or bust out a scooter tomorrow. enjoy it and #livetoride
I see you front forks have no suspension like my bike. I hate riding it off road it is actually quite dangerous. be careful on that beast. I think my bike has 6 miles on it that's how much i like it.
With my TBR7 I got 2 deepwell 5/8 sockets from lowes then put em under the spring screws after flushing and refilling with 15wt shock oil. I'm 6'5" 220 so I needed a LOT of help on the front end and that helped.

I got the 2024 basic titan 250 so far it’s been great with no issues

The Nibbi carb only made it a tenth of a second faster on 0 to 60. Not a game changer.

RollTide seen your garbage truck same one in Alabama bike sound different with that carb good job
Nibbi makes great carbs, I put one on my ssr 125tr-bw, and it went from 36mph too 47mph on a 1/8 mile
Have you tried running a better spark plug or a better coil

I registered my grom knock off from xpro, got insurance, took the paperwork that come with the bike to dmv and that was it. In Alabama
@lmfscrew sounds easy enough. I appreciate the help!
Yo you posted a video of a 2014 mustang gt 9 years ago whats that H pipe you had installed lmfaoo like what brand
How tall are you? Whats your weight? How does it fit you? Thanks dude!

I kinda want to try one of these bikes. I’ve only ridden ATV’s but have wanted to try a dirt bike

Where or What website did you get the dirt bike at
I'm guessing you stuck with the jets that came in the Nibbi?
Yeah just the ones in the nibbi
wire in the tailight i seen this in another video ill try and find it for you solder point broke..
2 strokes are WAYYYY more fun!!!!!
Yeah, even a Chinese 250 two-stroke is like $6K now. RapeMeNow had a KX85 for $3,550…but who knows after they rip you a new one with their fees💸💸💸
No shit captain obvious.. go find a brand new one for 2k and this will gaptize it 😂 banshee boi 💪
Love the X Pro bike need to buy me one soon!
Would you know what nibbi to get for a db36 it’s the Apollo 250 rx just the basic dirtbike model
I thought the nibby 28mm goes on those not the 30mm
It ships with a 28, but the 30 fits without additional changes.
How many miles have you put on the bike man
Has anyone had any issues with their taillight? I can't get the running light and the break light to work together like they're supposed to. Only one or the other depending on how i switch the wires around.
New rider; Just picked up the Templar M
I’m having the same issue with the throttle where it revs crazy when I turn to the right how did you fix it???
Back off the cable from the throttle body have no tension on the cable adjust idle on car not on the throttle cable
Carb*
5 or 6 speed?
What size jets do you run in your nibbi?
30mm

check your wires directly under the seat that is under the rear fender . One of the wires i bet came out the connecter. Mine did the same thing .

now putting on 42 tooth rear sprocket.
which one will better , Xpro 250 or Apolo 250, please can anyone let me know from their experience??
Put a 17 tooth pinion gear ⚙️ and it should go much faster I have a 250cc and it's quick
Can we get more shorty vids please it’s such a cool truck I’d like to see more of it 🔥
I’m 5’5 do you think I’d be able to ride height wise? I do ride motorcycles I just don’t know if this is too tall for me.
Im 5.8 and a yz 85 lw is perfect size for me I would try one I bored and stroked mine its pretty fast
Im 6ft 220 You think this would haul my rear end around lol?
Is that a Templar X or a 5 speed version?
The X is a 6 speed. The other models are 5 speed.
How long did it take for the bike to be delivered
Mine took 5 days.
good times guys !!! any time we can go chase is a great day . hope you get to go play in the water or bust out a scooter tomorrow. enjoy it and #livetoride
Can you install a kick start on this model?
Most models come with a Kickstarter pre installed
5”7 do you think bike will be too tall?
The Templar X will be too tall. I'm 5'9" and I'm on tippy toes. Get the Templar M.
What bike is that?

do not use the factory idle screw
Is this bike a 2024 ?
They all the same
I think it's a 07 . When the KTM let the patent go on the 200xs.. it's a clone.
Where you close to? Lets ride
