- I just... well I found out Vergil's voice actor sounded familiar and remembered that he was the guy from Power Rangers Time Force... so I made this.

Not much longer before, since DMC came out the same year, while Time Force's japanese counterpart Timeranger had come out the year before...
Wonder if they pulled from that intentionally or just a coincidence...
@@brandonbrown6922 eh not really the Vergil as we know he didn’t come into being until 2005 in 2001 we just knew he was his brother but the personality wasn’t even fleshed out yet, in fact originally Vergil died as a child in the original script. So yes he was in-fact Vergil before Vergil was reconned years later

Geez. I never realized how much of a love letter to fans the Power Rangers fighting game is. I spotted like 5 different things from this video alone that Quantum Ranger does in the game.

Yeah, they went as far as to even put references in the super’s *hit effects.* The devs of this game went all out for this game’s DLC.
U thought they just made that shit up in the game wrong it was all pulled from this fight
i would love to see someone compile videos of all the rangers from battle for the grid and like...the source of the references across the power rangers episodes. it'd be hard but it'd be so dang cool

Also to any fighting game, DMC, or even ranger fans in general, if you love this than you should check out Toku series like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. Something for just about everybody if you're willing to look for it. (Kamen Rider Zero-One is looking solid thus far).

Sometimes I always forget that the Quantum Ranger is my favorite Ranger (main favorites being Red Mystic and Silver In Space) in my childhood, but I somehow always find a way to be reminded that Quantum is the coolest Ranger ever.
When "Devil Trigger" was said while the camera panned the Quantum Sword, my heart instantly smiled. That was sick timing.
